Well, if I had checked my email, I would have seen that she already knew about the delay. She emailed me at 4:04 this morning to tell me that the flight was delayed to 1pm and that Jordan's bag was too big for carry on, so we'd have to hang out at the airport for a while.

Maybe she won't be quite as grumpy as I feared.

Y'all on here should still watch out, though.... I'll be filling her in on what's been going on and who's been naughty.

Probably not.

Getting a little annoyed with Gary spamming the board, anyway.

That and the small group of moronic Filipinas have completely turned me off of VJ for the moment.

Platy you did a wonderful job on the bedroom renovations. I am sure she will be tired from the long flight and the waiting around but she will be happy to see you. And sorry to say likely excited to get home and see the furry creatures, where you can of course show her all your handywork. Problem is she might want to leave again to see what else you do while she is away :thumbs: . It is frustrating waiting for a loved one to come in on a flight, or even watch a flight especially when it ends up getting delayed but she will be back soon and that is all that counts. Have a wonderful evening.

Well, she's back all safe and sound. We stopped at O'Charlies for dinner on the way back where I started being Larry again immediately by telling her that I'd eaten all of the chocolate she'd sent home from England. She was a little upset about that. lol

Then we came home and she said howdy to all of the cats, did a quick tour downstairs to see what I'd messed up (lol), then I took her upstairs to see the bedroom. Even though it still isn't done, she was impressed. I'd convinced her previously that I didn't do a damn thing while she was gone.

Anyhoo, she's still mucking about in her 'jammys, so I reckon I need to get her motivated with the prospect of a nice, greasy American breakfast at The Monon...

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.
