so ... 25 April we got NOA 2.

question ---

once USCIS received our affidavit support and everything is good to go, will then the status change to NVC ready ? or do we wait for NVC number ?

maybe @Naes

Why does USCIS receive your affidavit of support?

Wait two weeks from noa2- start calling nvc for a case number - it will be at nvc then will go to transit then it will go to ready when it reaches to the embassy (you don't need to do anything till this.) after this submit ds-160 and the rest will depend on your embassy. you will most likely take affidavit with you to the interview.

You won't submit the Form I-134 (Affidavit of Support) and its supporting Documents to USCIS. Your Fiancé fills it, prepares them and sends them to you for your Interview.

From now, USCIS is preparing your case to be sent to NVC. You will call NVC 14 days POST NOA2. With your case # from NVC, you can track your case. It will read;

'At NVC'...NVC is with it

'In Transit'...left NVC

'Ready'...Embassy is with it.

sorry---- I had lot of trips happening in April  lol and almost forget that I have to research about K1. haha

so J ( USC) is preparing Affidavit ( it's done ) does it mean he doesn't have to submit it or send it to USCIS ? file it somewhere ? or just send it to me ?

Please correct me if I am wrong :

J fills Affidavits - send only to me ( not USCIS)  - whilst waiting for NVC nr

NVC ready ( in Frankfurt Germany  embassy ) - fill DS 160 and supporting doc - I have to schedule med- then schedule interview ?

There should be a list on your embassy website as to what you can use for evidence. And that will be in that list.
