congrats!!
what kinda questions were you asked?

He asked us:

Where did we meet?
When did we meet?
Do we consummate?
Do we have children?

How did you meet?

It was a really short interview, we came prepared and he liked that! We showed him also a book of us with tons of pictures. He just looked at the first few pages and that was it!

I wish I can get the interview for Green Card before 2020 . I submitted my papers 14 months ago. 1 year ago my status changed to "Interview to be schedule ...". I am in Houston and now the process could take till 28 months ...

Did they take any documents from you? How did you prepare anyway?

We submitted almost 13 months ago also in Houston, haven’t heard anything. My husband has a coworker that is like 3 months ahead of us and also nothing. Just recently sent EAD renewal.

I sent EAD renewal 55 days ago. At least biometrics are not required.

We gave them our updated I-864 with the 3 latest tax forms and of course bona fide. Our credit card bill with both of our names, water bill, etc. He did not even look at it :) He just placed all together in this folder.

An updated I-864?Is it necessary?Or did they ask you for an updated one?

We just updated our I-864. Because we had a new tax year! We both filed taxes.

And no, they didn't ask for that!

I would do the same, just in case. Thank you so much.

I'm guessing you've already contacted your senator/representative, right? If not, I'd recommend doing so.

It has happened ....

today at work I got an email update about my case. My interview is scheduled. I don’t know when yet but there is movement now. Last status change was in September and I applied April 24 last year.

Crazy to see some people still haven't had their green card petitions approved! Something's wrong with the system when some petitions are approved after 3 months while others have to wait for more than a year. I wish all of you luck and hope you get good news soon.

Interview in Minnesota today. Submitted our paperwork in April 2017. Got an RFE in August of 2017. After submitting that he got his combo card in September. Got our letter for Interview  in May of 2018. The interview went great. Short and sweet. Verified information submitted with AOS.and asked about how we met, proposal, wedding. Gave papers showing joint accounts, insurance card Ryan's job letter and some wedding pics. Arrived about 45 mins early and they brought us back within 20 mins.
