No it won't cause any problem,but she will be ask if she has any medical condition she's managing.

I don't think she'll have any problem since it is not a communicable disease.. I have a cronic condition too and didn't have any problem. Just make sure she brings medical information like exams, list of medication she takes. The doctor may also want a document with that information signed be her physician

I have hypothyreosis managed by levothyroxine. I told the doctor and no it is not a problem. It's a very common condition :)

Interview Result : AP , requesting another PC (not expired) and certified divorce decree (was submitted)Stokes interview via phone for petitioner 4 hrs after interview.

Oct 23 email notification visa approved.
Visa Received : Nov. 3 , 2014 VISA IN HAND.

Several service requests made, contacted Senator and Ombudsman. Background checks still pending.
July 21, 2017 HOME VISIT.  Went well. Topic thread in AOS forum.
Waiting to skip ROC and get 10 yr GC due to over 2 year while pending AOS
AOS APPROVED Oct. 4, 2017 * Green card in hand Oct 13, 2017 !!!!!

First K1 denied after 16 month of AP. Refiled. We are a couple since 2009. Not a sprint but a matter of endurance.

OP, if she is being treated and uses medication within Ukraine, it's important to plan for it before she arrives in the US. Make sure she's bringing enough medication to last her for a month or two before transitioning to a US healthcare plan.

I put on my medical questionnaire that I have an underactive thyroid and take daily meds and nothing was said about it at the medical.  I am sure she will be fine.

I'm from the UK, hubby is from Michigan and is a retired US Army LTC.   We are currently stationed overseas.

02.17.15 - Packet 4 received by email with instructions to schedule medical and interview

02.18.15 - Email authorisation received from Consulate to gain access to appointment calendar

03.03.15 - Medical

03.18.15 - Interview - Approved

03.21.15 - Visa in hand

06.10.15 - POE Chicago (final destination Detroit)

07.20.15 - Received SSN in mail

07.27.15 - Received 2 year green card in mail

Thyroid is a very common problem for Ukrainians. It won't be any issue for her visa

As far as medication, there are a lot of Russian/Ukrainian pharmacies here in US and you can find almost all medication from former USSR countries.
