No case number yet - today is one month since NOA2.

Called twice today - both operators told me 30 business days for case number to be generated after receipt....this does not bode well at all for us. Times appear to be getting longer rather than shorter.

And you have the case number too?!!! Congrats! Yes, mine never reached NVC.So sad! So last week they got your case and issued a number right away or you had to wait for the number? So unfair, we were approved the same day!

Is it fast now? It's been a week...did you send everything in and paid all the bills already? Just wanna know how long it takes after you get your case number!

Thank You! They gave me the case number last week and issue me Invoice#, but I could not pay until the case get into their system which can take up from 10-20 days, that's what they told me but the case got into their system few days ago. I am not even close of being finish :(, NVC is pretty slow. I hope you will get your case soon, keep me update and let me know what is going on.

Called CSC today and I was told that it takes 45 days to send the case from CSC to NVC. Our case is still at CSC for processing.

We just called our congressman office today and they will send an inquiry tomorrow. This is getting ridiculous.

Today was 15 business days and still nothing. They told me to send an email. I asked if it's true they are a little backed up with large approval volumes coming from CSC, she said no, everything is normal, they just haven't received my petition yet. So tomorrow I'll scan my NOA2 and email that off, but I'm not confident it will do much if there are so many other people in the same position. This is supposed to be the fast part of this stupid process!!! :bonk:

Uhg, I was so happy to finally get NOA2 after waiting so long, but that was sure short lived after learning it's taking a MONTH to get through the NVC. >_< Everything is ending up longer than what's usually normal. This is depressing. And I agree about the angry operators at these places. It's bad enough we have to wait for so long; they don't need to be so snippy and rude. I mean okay, they have to deal with a lot of calls, but I'm not allowed to get rude and angry to customers at work just because I have to deal with so many. That's just part of my job. Some of the operators are nice and helpful, but there's a lot of bad ones. I don't expect my case to be treated "special" or anything, but I do expect to be treated in a respectable manner when talking to these people. I know it's a "privilege" for us to be able to bring our loved ones over from different countries, but it shouldn't be a privilege just to speak to a decent person on the phone.

Today was 15 business days and still nothing. They told me to send an email. I asked if it's true they are a little backed up with large approval volumes coming from CSC, she said no, everything is normal, they just haven't received my petition yet. I don't trust anything these operators tell me anymore. Every call is a different story and different numbers. Until I actually hear that case number, nothing is certain.

Hey, our case is en route to NVC for over 2 weeks already and it's killing me. What king of mail takes 2 weeks, you know?

I am so ready to give up...
