Still nothing for me. Tomorrow is 4 weeks since our approval. When I told the operator my notice date was May 22nd she said, "oh wow, yeah that should be here by now..." I'll try again tomorrow.

It really makes me depressed to know that the delay at this NVC stage started with the petitions approved in the last two weeks of May...

Did somebody kill the hamsters spinning the wheel at CSC?

Just my luck, the next thing is Icelandic Volcanic ash stops all air traffic right when my files leave the NVC probably.

Yeah, you do that, write NVC research every 4-5 days, that is what I did and one day you will hear something good.

My husband called NVC last night and the operator confirmed that they got our case, so yay again since yesterday they still didn't see it. Told us 10 business days to get the case number.

This is a good week, remember, so lets hope!

4 weeks and still nothing. No reply yet to the email I sent last Thursday. And it doesn't make me feel better when every time I call the operators seem shocked they haven't received our petition yet.

Dude the NVC received my case after 2 months, so you're going to be fine. Just gotta wait it out.

I'm sure it's not lost. But the time frame is unacceptable. They're doing nothing more than sending paper through the mail. Why does this need to take over a month?
