So your visa has been issued and was in your passport? And you had the big envelope with you with all the documents that the embassy sent you with your passport?

Which airport was this? Had you already landed or was this when you were trying to get on the plane at the start of your journey? If it was the start of your journey I'm thinking it could be an inexperienced airline employee who doesn't know what a CR-1 visa is. Did you ask to speak to a supervisor or manager? Sounds like a misunderstanding. I have similar situations in that I often book tickets to and from the USA via Scandinavia and one United employee told me I couldn't travel from the USA to Sweden because I don't have a Swedish passport. Despite the fact that Sweden is in the EU, I have two different EU passports and I had a separate onward ticket to my home country 3 hours after the flight landed. Sometimes the airline check in staff don't understand the visa types.

If you had already landed and it was a CBP employee who told you that you couldn't enter the country then he should have given you some paperwork to explain the reason for your refusal.

Who exactly told you you needed travel clearance?

Assuming your visa is correct and there are no mistakes such as a different name, and you had your big envelope with visa stuff with you, the only thing I can think of is that they may have wanted "coffee money"?

I merged your two threads, and removed several others. Please do not post more than once on an issue, and give all relevant information in one post, so we can help you better.

So with the information n ow merged, it looks like you were refused at the airport because your wife withdrew her support of the visa.

Yes she can, all she has to do is withdraw the I-864 in writing and let appropriate authorities know, he can be refused entry.

Not enough information but if she withdrew the petition successfully, she needs to petition you again.

Contact the US Embassy. Generally, a withdrawn case can not be reinstated. You will most likely need to start over.
