Yes. My brother have already uploaded AOS and financial evidence in 2020 but due to my dad passed away in 2021, ( he was the petitioner) we needed to apply for Humanitarian Reinstatement. After 2 years, it was approved. Last year 2023, NVC asked my brother to submit new substitute sponsor which is now my other brother and his wife. He submitted all the requested documents, AOS and FE from the substitute sponsor, submitted last january of this year. Before submitting those docs, everything was there in the portal. Until last March 14 2024, when they reviewed it. They sent a message that my brother needs to upload AOS and FE. Though he already did it. Now, we dont know how in the world to upload what they needed. My brother is going through alot and now this is happening. anybody has the same issue? Any help and advice please.

It's crazy. You would think it would be somewhat accurate as this is our lives right now. Families living apart or some trying to get their GC so they can work. I'm a complete mess not being able to be with my husband and my children cant see their dad. So much is going to be missed out on on both sides. 21 years of marriage and we have never been apart for so long. Thinking that it's going to be a year or more before I see him hurts my heart so much right now. I know it will be worth it in the end and we are over a month in so it's still progress, just need to keep that mindset. Ticking off the days.

Hello all, My husband completed his interview on April 4 in Lagos. The CO mentioned he would have given him an approval but he needed a marriage certificate from the court. What we submitted to the uscis was a marriage certificate from the church and that is what he brought into the interview. So after some back I decided to travel back the following week and go to the ministry of interior in Ikoyi. We received an affidavit stating we were already married 2 years ago and a marriage certificate from the federal ministry of interior. My husband submitted it all with pictures. It will not come from your local SSA office. Your local SSA office will have no knowledge on her I765 approved SSN coming directly from SSA HO so do not contact them. If it doesn't not come within 2 weeks of the EAD ARRIVAL, not approval, you may contact SSA HO in MD. Not before. SSA HO 800# is available online.

That's not my experience. I always add beneficiary emails and they have always received exact same correspondence as me including interviews. And NVC actually encourages this.
