Question about sending AOS and IV documents via e-mail to NVC (EP) .... NVC website does not seem to require COVER SHEET. It states to place case number in the subject line of the email and keep your attachments below five megabytes (MB).

Does this sound right, just e-mailing the AOS form and documents in an e-mail with case # on subkect line?

Also under FAQ: "

Create a separate file for each document, including all of its pages and both sides of double-sided documents. Do not include multiple documents in any scan file.

Each scan file must be named as it is created. Choose a file name that includes the following information:

• Your NVC case number;
• The full name of the applicant whose document you scanned; and
• The document name or form number.

For example:

• ABC2009123456_John_Doe_DS-3032.pdf
• ABC2009123456_Jane_Doe_Birth_Certificate.pdf

Yes, do exactly as instructed on NVC's website. Cover pages aren't required for EP. And whatever you do, do not send more than one email. Our experience with EP has been nothing but a nightmare. PM me if you want more details.

How much year tax paper do I need to submit to NVC?

The most current tax return (it should be 2015 now) with W2 or tax transcript is required to submit to NVC.

My parents-in-law (in the US) are about to send off the supporting & financial documents for my visa. However, we don't have 2015's taxes in there, and if we were to include those we'd have to send new papers from Sweden (new coverletter with a signature, new I-184 for my husband), which would take a while to arrive and having sat on the things for a while (police certificates since February), I'd kind of like to get it all in. Should I just send in and hope that they'll be willing to look at the 2015 tax papers at the interview and brace myself for the possibility of a checklist? :x

If we'll get a checklist (hopefully not!) how will NVC actually notify us? E-mail or snail mail? So far we've got e-mail notifications for everything.

I called to get a status on my case and they told me over the phone that a checklist was generated the day before. I got an email with the checklist about 3 hours after I called them.

I guess once the 30 days are up (next Monday will be day 31) I will call them for an update if I don't see anything positive in CEAC.

Wait.. wait a minute Liny. Are you recanting your story or you are saying you got another check list. I hope not.

Its just your past tense statement does not clarify if it was last March or this afternoon.

Hey I called NVC today and got our Case number and IIN but when I try to login to the ceac website it says the selected case number and IIN combination does not match our records. Has anyone else seen this or know if it's normal?
