Okay, so they haven't invoiced it yet. Did you get your case and invoice #'s late on Friday? Did you happen to get a welcome email from NVC?

Reason I ask is because my AOS fee wasn't invoiced until after I got the welcome email. I called them to review my DS-261 and the first girl kept saying she couldn't review it because it wasn't "sent" to me yet. Had no idea what she meant since I had completed it the night before. However, a couple of hours later, I received the welcome email. Then when I checked the AOS fee was invoiced and I called again and the girl who answered that time reviewed it.

Makes perfect sense. No, I have not received the email with welcome letter. Im assuming the case number was assigned late on friday because I had called in the morning and they had nothing yet. So maybe I'll wait a bit, I should receive the email soon.

Thanks so much for your responses.

Wooohooo

Just got 3 NAs. Case complete.

Scan date was March 14th, but this was for my checklist document. At last. Check list was to prove my convictions were never sent to court and that no court records exist.

Were the convictions the USC or the beneficiaries? What did you need to do to prove no court records?

Mine but they were extremely minor offenses and a long time ago. To prove I didn't goto court I sent them a subject access report, which in the UK is basically a print out of the offence, the date and the result. The annoying this is that I already had this document but I didn't send it to the NVC originally. They ask for court records, I didn't realise that means you have to prove an offence didn't goto court too.

Thanks mate, I had a look at the spread sheet and it seems like it take an average of 60 days from CC to interview date. I'm hoping for something sooner. But 'ill wait ...

Hey peeps...it's me again. I know I'm asking alot of questions but this whole NVC process can tell on your nerves and I guess due to the fact that my case has been here over a year my mind is refusing to believe that I would get CC..it's sad. Like I said before we sent our AOS and Iv packages since last year but my husband or myself never got any confirmation don't know if the people at the agency got any cause they're not really giving us any info...anyway we sent that and we didn't get any confirmation but when the agent realized the ds260 was incomplete he sent it in and that's when we got the 30 days notice. My question is...why did we get the email saying they received our 'documents' when it was just the ds260 that we sent?

Question about sending AOS and IV documents via e-mail to NVC (EP) .... NVC website does not seem to require COVER SHEET. It states to place case number in the subject line of the email and keep your attachments below five megabytes (MB).

Does this sound right, just e-mailing the AOS form and documents in an e-mail with case # on subkect line?

https://travel.state...ocuments.html..

Also under FAQ: "

Create a separate file for each document, including all of its pages and both sides of double-sided documents. Do not include multiple documents in any scan file.

"

Each scan file must be named as it is created. Choose a file name that includes the following information:

  • Your NVC case number;
  • The full name of the applicant whose document you scanned; and
  • The document name or form number.

For example:

  • ABC2009123456_John_Doe_DS-3032.pdf
  • ABC2009123456_Jane_Doe_Birth_Certificate.pdf

:crying: I think I might have messed up.

I sent my documents to the address listed on the state department's website

National Visa Center
Attn: DR
31 Rochester Ave. Suite 100
Portsmouth, NH 03801-2914

But on the NVC welcome letter, the address shown is

National Visa Center

31 Rochester Ave. Suite 200

Portsmouth, NH 03801-2915

The tracking says delivered. Did I screw it up?

i dont think you should panic. Everything went to the NVC processing center. It's just different departments were they process different things I guess. As long as you included each corresponding Cover letter with case number written everywhere, and also identifying if its AOS or Supporting Documents. You should be fine.

Someone else can chime in though.
