You can send photocopies of the tax transcript or W2s to NVC, but keep in mind that the signature on the I-864 form can't be a photocopy. Has to be an original signature.

I did everything as it was listed on the NVC welcome letter. It's not in the same order as you have it here. I was also out of the country for the past two weeks so I did what I could overseas. Then finished the rest after I got back. I called the NVC initially to see if they had assigned a case number and since they did, they told me I can do the choice of agent over the phone. I never submitted a DS-261 online. After that I paid the fees as they opened up. Then submitted the DS-260 and then sent in the financial and supporting documents. The documents should arrive there on Monday. Does that sound okay?

Sounds good now the countdown to day 30 or so.

I just got my case number and invoice number right now over the phone. THey said it was assigned on 4/8/16 so that means i got it 8 days after NVC received the case.

Thanks dwheels! I appreciate the support. They received my documents on March 18th but didn't scan it in till the 22nd, so either by end of this week or mid next week. Just praying they don't checklist me again.

So I completed choice of agent. Basically I have to wait until its reviewed to go ahead and pay the fees? Can I call in immediately to have someone review it or do I have to wait regardless.

Hi everyone...just want to confirm something. The scan date is the date NVC received the documents right?...Hope I'm not mistaken and looking at the wrong date all this time. My husband received an email on Mar 25 saying they received the docs on the 21st and to give them 30 days from the day they received it so...I should be looking at the 21st right?

The AOS fee should already be available to you. You don't have to wait to get the DS-261 reviewed. I completed mine at night and called the next day and had it reviewed. getting that reviewed will unlock the IV fee.

Correct! Go by the date they gave you in the email. In your case the 21st. Good luck!!!

Okay, so they haven't invoiced it yet. Did you get your case and invoice #'s late on Friday? Did you happen to get a welcome email from NVC?

Reason I ask is because my AOS fee wasn't invoiced until after I got the welcome email. I called them to review my DS-261 and the first girl kept saying she couldn't review it because it wasn't "sent" to me yet. Had no idea what she meant since I had completed it the night before. However, a couple of hours later, I received the welcome email. Then when I checked the AOS fee was invoiced and I called again and the girl who answered that time reviewed it.
