DWheels, as you know, we "finished" the process nearly a year ago, and *I* am still here!!! We are looking forward to celebrating our "immiversary" on the one year date of our POE at JFK. That will be July 15th!

I was puzzled when I saw the "other" list recently. I only knew of yours. This has always been such a positive place - and I KNOW how much time and energy it takes to keep up with it (even when you are sick or on vacation!).

Keep up the wonderful work. I, and others who are done with NVC and the Embassy/Consulates, will always be checking in to cheer on those who are still slogging through!

I have a question to ask everyone here so please chime in would you please.

I need to know if you find this thread a help to you and even though some of you may be moving on in your journey do you feel its a thread that will help others coming along behind you?

I ask this because I was surprised that a similar thread with same stats (well they keep Scan dates at NVC) is being kept but everything else on the spreadsheet they have. And all of you have enough on your plates than to duplicate information all over the place.

This thread was created not to just gather data but to have a central place for people to come to after case complete to talk, vent, cry, moan, whatever while waiting for that Interview date.

Than to come back and party like a rockstar when we all love to read and hear "We got the Visa....Approved".

This thread has rolled since August 2012 month to month and here we are. And NO I am not going anywhere I just am throwing out to ya'll and want this to be the best thread to get ya'll as ready as can be for your Interviews.

Okay the floor is all yours. :reading:

this thread is a big help in all ways, thank you what you are doing, Dear Dwheels!!! (F)

Hi everyone,

We had our interview in Montreal today. Everything went smooth and all of the consulate staff were very helpful and kind. They said they are still not printing visas but I could expect to receive mine in about two weeks. Which, frankly, was a relief.

I will also mention that my wife, the petitioner, came along but they weren't letting in any additional people, so she had to wait at a café while I went to the interview. This might be something to keep in mind if you're interviewing in Montreal soon.

Good luck to everyone waiting for their interviews and their interview dates!
