Submitted expedited request letter to NVC public inquiry form on 2020-07-07, followed up with NVC and was asked to re-send to NVC Expedite email on 2020-07-17. NVC approved request for expedited processing on 2020-07-28 and file was sent directly to Frankfurt consulate for scheduling. Also filed I-129F on 2020-01-16, and received denial on 2020-07-23 due to the fact that the I-130 was already approved. Because our interview at the Frankfurt consulate was scheduled with less than two weeks notice, my husband had to do his medical the day before the interview. Since the results are sent over to the Consulate, they were not available at the time of his interview. Thus, we had to sit in Administrative Processing for about 10 days until the visa was ready to issue. All in all, it wasn't as painful a process as anticipated, although of course you always wish the process would wrap up sooner! We are still super grateful, especially in light of delays that many couples are encountering throughout the world due to COVID-19. 2020-10-19
