Okay, didn’t know if it was just the way I worded things but yeah, I’m in the same boat. I’ve tried contacting USCIS and NVC and they just keep saying the same thing. The NVC said they’ll try to locate our petition but I doubt we’ll hear anything regarding that matter.. it’s already been a few weeks since. USCIS is now telling us to wait 90 days for our petition to be mailed to the NVC before we contact them again. It’s all very nerveracking.

we did a religious one, where the isalmic imam performed at our house in jordan. He gave us the islamic marriage certificate to document it and send it to civil department, but we didn’t do that yet.
So, legally we are not married. We did ask and we did a background check on ourselves if we are married, and we didn’t find anything. Both of us on all documents appear to be single.

Let's say we apply for the fiance visa now. While the process is going my fiance decides to move to Italy and we get married there. Could we still keep the fiance visa process and get married again in America once I receive the visa ? 

I live in Egypt, Is there a way that my fiancee in the US could do the finacee Visa petition without her ever being in Egypt she never visited me We know each other for about a year and half and I have sent her an engagement ring and we are engaged but we have never visited each other any answer would be appreciated*. Update - She PASSED! But still need produce a Macau Police Report within 1 year, then they'll grant her a Visa.
 
The day started at 5am.  She got there at 7am because she had to wait in line to get a ticket.  Gates opened at the HCMC US Embassy around 7:30am.  They had to get her finger prints and security clearance.  No Cellphones or any type of electronic devices. No bookbag or such. Only allow to carry the documents you need once you enter the building. You can put your cellphone in a locker and they'll return it to you afterwards.
 
Due to Covid-19, they were only allow to interview behind a glass screen (no office room interview) in front of the counter with social distancing.  She could see other people interviewing beforehand.  
 
Questions they asked: 
1. How did you guys meet?
2. When was the last time you seen you fiancé, approximate date?
3. Who does your fiancé live with?
4. What's your fiancé mother's name?
5. Did you guys have an engagement party here in Vietnam? If so, was any of his family member there/attended?
 
She waited for about 1 hour and the interview took about 10 minutes.  
 
She said it's the luck of the draw with what counter or interviewer you have with.  She was lucky to have a nice Consulate interviewer.  The translator was nice too. 
 
She said she noticed one counter where a lot of individual failed.  You can tell  by the expression on their faces as they left the counter.
 
All we need to do now is wait for the Macau to finish investigating her police report and hopefully she can be here by April or May 2021.
 
 

Hello, Very new just starting the K1 journey but was curious is it going to be possible once I hopefully get my K1 visa for my fiancé and I to get married in Mexico (she enjoys Cabo) and if not we also like St Thomas, US Virgin Islands. She likes the idea of a beach wedding somewhere very warm. I guess Hawaii is another option? Thank you, sure I will have many more inquiries along the way.

What are you talking about? It's totally irrelevant. Look, we can debate whether or not that's the right attitude or not to get these ostensible people to give me what I want, but in the abstract it's completely daft and so are arguments that it was "self-inflicted" after I checked over the application infinity times or (this one was particularly hilarious) that it's to "protect our country"—as if it needed protection from the immigrant hordes who are gonna MARRY WHITE GUYS AND GET JOBS AND TRY HARD and probably believe in this dump of a nation more than I or any other native-born ever could.
 
Frankly I don't even think of it as "our country" because no one my age has ever really had a stake in it and, if anything, this process is reinforcing that obvious truth.

What makes you so special that you don’t have to undergo the same process as others? You will get no sympathy here. Don’t like the process and how the US government chooses to deal with immigration? Go live in the beneficiary’s country. Case closed. 

Ohh so I have to wait until after I receive my NOA2 to update any information? I guess I'll just have to hope and pray I don't get an RFE for the original error I made. Thanks for your help!

The website that @Timona posted is pretty simple. It seems that there are two separate processes; paying at the CEAC and paying for the DS160. 
That being said, there are no “so- called experts in here. There are people with varying degrees of knowledge. Most of them are really nice and willing to help, provided you don’t come with an attitude:

Whether it has really happened before or not is irrelevant. If something is wrong per immigration law, what does it matter if it’s happened in real life before or not? Even if it hasn’t happened before, you could be the first. The fact that something has slipped through the cracks previously or been overlooked doesn’t mean you will be that fortunate.
 
You’ve received enough opinions, one more doesn’t change anything. Make your decision based on the information you’ve received instead of going around fishing hoping to hear the answer you want.

No one here owes you an answer.
 
And yet people here and on Reddit have provided you with info. It seems the only thing that will satisfy you is to hear the thing you want to. On Reddit you rather rudely demanded people send you links from VJ. Entitled much? 
 
Here's what you do if you don't like the answers. Go find the answers yourself or get a lawyer. Or be your own test case. Also if you think "an actual immigration lawyer on Youtube" is the sole source of correct info, I have some bad news for you. I suggest you find stories on here about lawyers who screwed over their clients because they didn't know what they were doing. Just because someone is a lawyer doesn't mean they're good at it. 
 
Frankly, I'm tired of reading the same questions from the 2 accounts you have here on VJ and the two you have on Reddit.

Here's the thing... not everything over there on Reddit that you all are saying is facts. I realized that a LOT of it is not fact. There's a ton of misinformation floating around these immigration forums. That's why I am asking across multiple forums on VJ and Reddit. I try to be thorough and find consistencies in the information I receive from these threads... That's how I can be reasonably certain that it's correct information. There's an actual immigration lawyer on YouTube that actually said that it shouldn't be a problem to have a wedding ceremony before the k1 is complete, so that is how I know that people on Reddit and VJ sometimes don't know what they're talking about. A lot of the approvals and denials are based on the discretion of the officers, and not always because of the law, but oftentimes because of how they're feeling, or their own personal biases.
 
I'm not here to argue though, I just want my question answered, which I didn't get answered over on Reddit.

No.  You said it yourself -- that's a "want".  Not having a baby is not a condition that endangers the petitioner's health or finances.

Recently my Fiancé was denied entry to the US by the CBP due to our K-1 being expired. I don't know how this happened, but we got the expiration date mixed up. I am at a loss for words, to come this far in the journey only to be denied on the final step is so painful. We're trying to collect ourselves and figure out what our options are (possibly having to re-do the entire K-1 Visa process.) It has been nearly 9 months since I've seen my Fiancé and we miss each other greatly. My question for you all is, will this prevent him from visiting with me? The CBP agent took his passport and crossed out the initial stamp, he then wrote a date under that. I'm confused as to what this date means and I'm worried my Fiancé will not be allowed to visit me now.
 
I don't think this is a very common situation as I've been googling away and not found much, but apologies if this was answered already.
 
Any input is much appreciated and thanks for taking the time to read.

with a bit of confusion lingering any further testimony would essentially finalize the decision.
