It means your c31 work permit issued (soon you will get the approval letter for i-360). I think your AOS (i-485) is moved to NBC from Vermont center for “faster process”.

I received RFE for i-693 letter on 6/17/2022.

My lawyer responded to USCIS on 7/5/2022.

Waiting for the next step.

timeline:

i-360 & i-485 on 10/3/2019

i-360 approved on 8/31/2021(but the letter received in October, 2021)

i-485 transferred 10/29/2021

REF for i-693 6/17/2022

I have similar time line to yours:

the C31 was issued on August 2021 & (i360 approval notice in October 2021). I applied my c09 renewal in Sept 2021 and the new card was issued in end of March2022. 

May I ask where your local office is?

I’m wondering if anyone, whose local office is Queens, NY,  recently got his/her interview notice. If there is any, could you please provide your timeline?

I’m October 2019 filer(i-360&i-485 concurrent filing) and my i-360 was approved in late August 2021. I-485 is pending.

I read from somewhere that sometimes the status was never(or it take couple months to be updated like usual) changed even if the case was proceeding. 
 

your case was approved earlier than mine so it will happen soon or already did happen.🤞

I’m 2019 October filer and recently received the i-360 approval letter on 10/13/2021. My i-485 status has changed today to “case transferred to another office”.

4 weeks after the message “card was mailed to me” I did inquire to the local congressperson. One of the people from the office reached out to me and asked privacy release form to get info for my case inquiry. And I don’t know it’s been 2 weeks or so and I haven’t heard anything. I think it takes at least a month or so.

if you look under the c31 category - it says principal beneficiary  of an approved VAWA self petition.

Exactly.. but my lawyer doesn’t say I am yet until I receive the official notice. I think it’s fair for her to say yes when things are 100% clear lol.

No it doesn’t give you approval notice with it and my lawyer doesn’t say it’s official approval at all. Until you get the official approval letter from theUSCIS, even if the only basis for EAD c31 is approved vawa petition, she doesn’t seem to want to say I am.

 I went through the exactly same situation just few weeks earlier than you. I reached out to the congressperson in my area like I was advised by somebody here in this forum. I filled out the privacy release form the office asked but I have not heard anything after. 
 

Funny thing is that my mail was delivered to my lawyer’s office 35 days after the message was shown. According to USPS tracking(after the fact, I mean I did not get the tracking number on my case status history), they attempted to deliver to my lawyer’s office 3 days after the message “card was mailed to me” on USCIS. But for some reasons, my lawyer said she never received any notice from the USPS. And the USPS held my mail for a month and delivered it to the office again.

I hope your mail is delivered soon.

As I read through this forum, to get the approval letter after ead (c31) was issued, it takes sometimes like 3 months. So I know how desperately you want to see the card and check if it is true that your case is approved.. but I (we) probably need to step back and stay focused on what I (we) can do at the moment along the way to heal. Sending a big support!

I received my EAD card(c31) yesterday. My lawyer told me that USPS “attempted” to deliver the mail on 9/8 after her working hour to her office. The USPS held the mail and dropped the mail at her office 10/7. The waiting was obnoxious but anyway it arrived… so next step is the approval letter… Hopefully, the mailing does not get messed up when my time comes 🤞
