    I’ve been to the court 3 times and on each occasion I was told to ask my lawyer for update as they see I have one on file! Is there a way I can get the direct contact for my judge’s clerk?

    @Verrou @Family @Demise @Reto @Hope21 Do I start shopping for a new lawyer? I’m in removal proceedings but My I360 was approved in feb 2023. Prior to my approval my lawyer had filed PD but got no response. We tried a second time after vawa approval in feb, but the response from OPLA was they had more than 300 cases ahead of mine and was attending to them FIFO. After applying pressure, my lawyer eventually filed a motion to recalender/terminate proceedings directly with the court accompanied by a new I-485 in MAY! Last update I was given in July is “the judge wants us to file another I-360 with him” which sounds very weird. It’s been 4 months now and nothing, I’ve been calling and messaging for updates for 3/4weeks now and my lawyer is ignoring me. I’m in TX as well and I do not have any record, I thought termination was easy😩. I’m beginning to feel Tx is just notorious when it comes to termination cos I’ve heard people successfully terminate removal in other states with pending I-130 or I-360 and it’s difficult here even with an approved petition.

    I have an approved I-360 and pending 1-485 with USCIS. I’m still in removal proceedings and my lawyer has filed PD twice with OPLA! Once before my I-360 approval and once after but no news from that. I’m insisting He files a motion to terminate directly with the immigration judge but he wants to charge me more for that after paying $2,500 to file the PD. I’m confused right now, cos I feel some of these lawyers just want to keep milking clients. He’s talking about filing a new I-485 with the immigration court and then file a motion to terminate, which makes no sense to me! Any input would help. I’m confused as to what to do, my master hearing is for Feb 2025. Anyone here that has a guide to terminating removal proceedings?

    I’m from 2021, Feb 10 to be precise! No RFE and 2PFs. Vawa approved exactly 2 years after filing. Still in removal proceedings though. My lawyer filed for PD Nov 2022, but no response yet. She however submitted a new request after vawa approval last month, still waiting on that as well. Waiting till end of march before I file for a termination with the immigration judge directly. Hang in there! You should file the I 485, since you’re already out of court(my opinion).

    Hi all! My VAWA got approved, I can’t even describe how I feel right now. Thankful for all the wonderful and helpful contributors in this community @TBoneTX @sandranj @Stillwinning!!!😊 I know the wait is excruciating but let’s all remain positive and keep our minds busy with things that make us happy. I pray for everyone waiting on their good news❤️ 2 PFs, No RFE!

    Hi guys, I have a question. So I filed for my vawa feb 2021, received my EAD July 2021 and also got my second PF earlier this month. The issue is, I’m in removal proceedings and I’m considering applying for PD. My question is, do I need to wait till my vawa application is approved or I can go ahead and apply for it now? I would appreciate any insight on this, thank you. @sandranj @Demise @Pinkrlion
