  1. At this point you are still several months away, more so if you decide to slow walk the process by scheduling interviews and medical appointments as late as possible without things expiring.

Just remember, so many people were so close to being with their loved one and BAM!!!, the covid mumbo jumbo happened and they were stuck in limbo for a couple of years. Crazy things can cause delays, especially considering we are in an election year, just about the same time when all the silliness happened last time. Whatever your extenuating circumstances are, I would bet you can overcome them rather than experience the delays that happened for many of us a few years ago.

  2. For what it's worth, last year in the Philippines my wife was not asked for pay stubs at her interview. However she did have in her possession my most recent tax return but was not asked to show it.

We had her bring a collapsible file folder with everything available at her fingertips just in case an unexpected request came up. The only thing they asked for was visa photos versus passport style photos. Which she had 2 extra sets of each on hand. Visa size is slightly different than passport size and they wanted 4 of them.

Just take an extra copy of everything you have just in case. It doesn't cost that much to bring extra copies and can save a lot of headaches if by chance they ask for something at the interview.

Flu is also possible, but not usually available there.

Yeah my wife did not have a flu shot in the Philippines and got to the US just fine last summer without it. She got an RFE for her AOS a couple of months ago and it was for her to have a flu shot. Once she got the flu shot her AOS was approved and she received her green card a month or so later.

  4. I would suggest the best thing you can do for now is to gather ANY medical/vaccination records as you can if that information is available to you. I know some areas of the Philippines that medical recordkeeping is not the best, but maybe you will get lucky. The remote area my wife grew up in had no records available. My wife had to get a couple of vaccinations on her medical at St. Lukes that she had no evidence of, however she had the vaccine scar on her arm from childhood vaccinations and they let her slide on those. She had paperwork for her 2 doses of the covid vaccine (Sinovac) so that was a non-issue.

By the way, don't just collect any medical records available, try to gather school/employment records or anything else you can think of while still in the Philippines. You never know what you might need once you are in the US.

This and several other issues that have cometo light have led to several issues between us to the point where I am now considering a divorce.

My question is outside of the arrest warrant, would you still be seeking a divorce and for what reason? Is your goal to have them sent back home or just have them exit your life whether they remain in the US or not? Sometimes people are looking for that magic bullet that they think can absolve them of their obligations. Feels like the relationship isn't what you had hoped it would be and you are hoping to wash your hands of the whole matter and would like to be released from the responsibilities you signed up for.

    Hello,

I was wondering if the visa journey estimate for approval of the k1 visa is accurate? My Fiancée and I got our NOA1 on December 11th, 2023, Visa journey is stating that between September 9th and 21st 2024 we should receive notification if our k1 visa has been approved, I really don't want to get my hopes up. Did anyone else's NOA2 happen around the same time visa journey expected? Thanks!

As time goes by, your "estimate" is going to shift. The initial estimate we had (during the height of the covid garbage) was 8.5 months. Over time that date kept moving and eventually it was 15+ months from NOA1 to NOA2. Focus on other things like preparing for things you might need once your K1 has been approved. Use this time to have your fiancé collect documents/records they might need once in the US.

So who is running for President on the Democrat ticket?

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Marrianne Williamson are both running. RFK Jr actually has some decent polling in the last few weeks in the 21% range, which is pretty good against a sitting president in his own party. About a third of states have open primaries, meaning anyone can vote in the Democratic or Republican party regardless of their registration. If old Joe keeps screwing things up and some republican voters cross over and vote for RFK Jr over old Joe in the primary it could get interesting.

You can still see it on display anytime you go into any big box store.  I still see a number of folks wearing masks, and I would imagine the majority of them are gaslighted Democrats.

Yes, I work in retail and I still see them, maybe 5% or less are still clinging to the mask hysteria. I was one of the small percentage who never wore a mask (outside of my cardiologist's office). My breathing ability is already restricted and I'll be damned if I am going to intentionally restrict it further with a useless rag. I got a lot of nasty looks, the occasional finger wagging and verbal abuse aimed towards me by those people, but I am immune to their attempts to shame me. It's not my responsibility to wear something on my face because of their gullibility to the fear mongering. I have noticed the most vocal against non-maskers that come to my work are pretty silent these days. They only shop early in the morning or just before closing time. They don't talk to anyone, don't even get near anyone, they give off that vibe of an abused animal that shies away from humans, it's sad really.

    My favorites/saddest are:

    1. The lone person driving in their car with a mask on.

    2. The lone masked person walking or jogging with nobody within half a block of them.

    3. The family shopping with the mother and 2 kids masked, but the father is not.

    4. The masked people who are shopping who veer sharply away from anyone approaching.

    5. The employees that wear the mask half the week, but not the other half.

Must Watch: Epic Video Exposes COVID Fanatics and Their Hatred

If you've forgotten just how vicious many lamestream media reporters and Democrat politicians became, here's a refresher.  You might think, oh, that's old news, I don’t want to think about it.  But we can never forget, and we must never let it happen again.  [...]

Other than Cavuto, everyone in this video fits into a certain political ideology (And no, Joe Scarborough and Arnold are not conservatives despite what they try to claim). Makes you wonder just how far some of these people would have gone and to what level of persecuting their fellow Americans would they have been okay with if they had their way. Was it fear of the coronavirus that made them think this way, or was it an opportunity to destroy their political opposition? Let's face it, you can get an extremely accurate assessment of someone's politics based on their mask wearing and coronavirus injection advocacy. The mask and the coronavirus injection card became sort of a gang tattoo, a physical representation of who was on your team and those without that branding must be mocked, demonized, shunned and who knows what else. I don't believe most of these people in this video truly believed in what they were saying, I think they were trying to whip their gang into a frenzy of hatred and "othering" their fellow countrymen. It's sad what people were willing to do to their neighbors.

Ugghh...thanks for the suggestions on picking her up. I've never picked anyone up from the international terminal but am very familiar with having to walk to the next terminal to get to my parking lot pick up van. She hasn't traveled much, so I think she would be very confused & out of place trying to figure everything on her own. I'll just plan to park in Lot C (if that's the closest one) and just walk with her there. How long has Terminal E been hosed? It has been under repair at least since 2021.

I've also been tracking the flight using FlightAware. Right now FlightAware has the flight arriving over 3 hours late. It left on time, so I'm not sure why the lengthy delay. EVA Air website indicates that it is about 20 minutes behind.

I'll have to look for some maps so I even know where to park & where to go.

Flights were has dead spots where it says "estimated", where they don't have any tracking info. Usually once they get to the US airspace the tracking info gets more accurate. And I have been on many flights where we lost time taking off too late where the pilot makes up the difference in the air. I'm sure it will about on time or not too far off at least.

Ahh i see, ill keep trying in the morning then.

Where your appointments too apart from the date your lawyer got them?

Not sure of the wording of your question.

On Sunday February 26th our attorney emailed us to tell us he got us an interview for March 9th. Unfortunately we had to have him cancel that interview because my fiance had her first day of her medical at St. Lukes and an appointment to pick up her NBI clearance that same day. He was able to reschedule the interview exactly 1 week later on March 16th.

Long story short, we finally manage to get the visa fee paid this weekend.
We are currently trying to get an interview appointment for first week of June, as well to schedule the medical for next week, but Ustraveldocs is showing not available appointments.

We were trying to get everything done from May 15 to June 20.

Is there any specific day/time i must check the UStraveldocs website to get an appointment, or is it completely random?

Our immigration attorney scheduled us 2 separate interviews in Manila a week out. We had to cancel the first one because it was in conflict with another appointment, but he got the 2nd appointment a week later. I don't know exactly how he managed to get appointments so easily, but he was emailing us the appointment times at 7pm (Arizona time) on Sunday, which would be 10am Monday morning in Manila. So I would suggest trying first thing Monday morning in the Philippines, seemed to work for our attorney.

So projecting this entire initiative out, what is the plan if the CA legislature realizes there is not enough money for this, or The governor of CA does not sign a bill allowing for this?  Mostly peaceful riots?

Let them print their own currency, a California ruble if you will that can only be used in California.
