  1. Hi! Once you get the IL you have to "register" for your appointment (at least at my embassy) which had a couple of online things I think? But nothing insane, and you have to sort the courier information for the embassy to mail your visa/passport back to you. We had to pay for postage.
  2. Yup - we got ours! DQ Feb 16 IL Feb 28 Interview April 20
  3. Has anyone expedited the DQ - IL or DQ - interview process? What is the process for this?
  4. There was an April 25th as well, so I think April's gone for interviews.
  5. End of April. So my guess is DQ dates of Feb 16-?? will get early May? But I honestly have no idea. I really thought I would have the interview end of April, so not being a part of that IL batch has derailed a lot of my plans.
  6. Saw ILs just came out today looks like for February 1-15 DQs? Anyone get an IL today? Or are still waiting from February DQ dates? We were DQd February 16th and didn't get an IL today. I'm not sure if we did something wrong? Or just missed their cutoff? I wish they would do things on a regular cadence.
  7. DQd today too!! Hallalujah! Submitted 1/31/2023 Here's the updated list but hopefully everyone from January has heard DQ or RFE so far: User Submitted DQ Estimate (2/13 @ 21 days) Resubmit? 8. Congratulations!! That's only 16 days for processing. 😃
  9. Hi - you have submitted in February and there is a separate forum post for February 2023 submissions, so please check that out.
  10. No one's updated this recently, so here: User Submitted DQ Estimate (2/13 @ 21 days) Resubmit? 11. It takes time for them to review and process your application... it's not instantaneous. Check under Current Case Review time on this site: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/nvc-timeframes.html It says that currently it is taking about 21 days to process NVC documents. So sit back and be patient.
  12. Yes if you submit the tax return you must also submit any associated W2s and 1099s from that same year. A tax RETURN can be filled in but not submitted, so they are just double checking your income since you could theoretically fake a tax return. A tax TRANSCRIPT is a receipt from the IRS which means that the tax return was submitted [online] and does not require additional W2s/1099s to prove income, since you officially submitted it to the IRS. I am assuming someone in the past must have actually faked a tax return for them to institute requiring W2s and 1099s in addition to the tax return document.
  13. This is untrue. The submission date is based off of the submission date of the DS260.
  14. November and December have lots of federal holidays in the US, so that might have been the reason. I've seen one IL today, but I think they are embassy specific?... Not from NVC.
