Black Friday report: Did both. Saved $6 at #1. Would've done #2 regardless. Found 2 pants & 2 pair socks for right around $10. Interesting to me was the exceptionally light roadway/freeway traffic -- an unexpected pleasure. I miss the old days when the Thursday (Thanksgiving Day) newspaper was stuffed with store flyers. These sometimes caused me to visit stores that never would have crossed my mind absent the flyers. This year, the only printed flyers were Dollar General, Ashley Furniture, Macy's, Academy Sports + Outdoors, and Home Despot. I visited DG & HD consequent to reading their flyers. "Without advertising, a remarkable thing happens: Nothing."

Thrilling Friday non-ES report, see man: Awakened somewhat before alarm consequent to shoulder pain, man. We gained Many (2+1) pounds -- si man, Many (2+1 ) pounds -- consequent to Thanksgiving lunch, man. Breakfast (!?) was one ham-&-cheese sandwich, ingest we man. Got ES-ing before Many (2x2x2 +1) a.m., self-impressed we man. Traffic was exceptionally light all day in every direction, big-yet-pleasant surprise man. Ran 2 errands at usual Home Despot & Aldi on way to first ES, convenient route man. At HD, got Many-pack of Energizer alkaline AA batteries at $Many off, Black Friday & F$WM man. After first ES, stopped at favorite remote thrift store, rather proximal for we man man. No special sales except for daily tag-colors, oh well man. Got pocket T-shirt for us, socks for Mini-B., & seemingly new Western shirt* for Uncle T-B., si man. *this at half-price, serendipity man Total = just under $Many ($2x2x2 +2), steal and F$WM man. We were highly self-pleased at how much we fit into the $Many bag at the second ES, self-pleased we man. From second ES, returned all the way to favorite large thrift store, half-off everything man. Store looked like tornado had hit it, and it was only early afternoon man. We found pants for Uncle T-B. and jeans & socks for us, find we man. Total = right around $Many (2x2x2 +2), steal and F$WM man. Returned to casa at half-past 2 p.m., long outing man. Miu was aysheep and attention-starved, aysheep attention-starved miu man. Lunch was 2 bagels + margarine, ingest we man. An hourlong siesta was taken, awakened a bit early by shoulder pain man. Went to help someone at Mama T-B.'s old casa, assist we man. Returned to casa at dark and was confronted by aysheep, attention-starved miu man. We have never seen miu so aysheep, aysheep miu man. We lunched/treated miu, zero effect man. Miu knocked down every wastebasket in the casa, aysheep miu man. Miu chewed lustily on every paper & plastic item in the casa, chew miu man. Miu prevented us from stowing groceries, jump-on-countering miu man. We finally thoroughly played with and brushed miu, miu somewhat less aysheep thereafter man. Din-din was ex-Mrs.-T-B.'s leftovers, ingest we man. No time for highly desired siesta thereafter, sigh man. Nevertheless, this was a wonderful day that we greatly needed, conclude we man. WCG is in London for Mrs. WCG's visa caucus on Manycember 1, finally man. She's missing her birth certificate, so a Vietnamese lawyerette is trying to obtain it from Vietnam ASAP, unsure about success there man. When the visa is finally granted, it would be an IR-1, thankfully man.

We stuffed ourself with 2 full plates of turkey, ham, stuffing, and green bean casserole, ingest we man. This was breakfast/lunch/din-din, sated we man. We then zzz'd out on the couch next to sleeping mini-miu, little orange boy man. Family from Ecu then video-called, call they man. To them, ex-Mrs.-T-B. showed us zzz-ing, man. We up-woke just enough in dazed fashion to not completely embarrass ourself, dazed we man. Afterward, went to Dollar General for a couple of items, DG we man. As hoped, got register receipt for $Many-off-$Many on Saturday, man. We shall return for that, F$WM. After DG-ing, we adjourned to the casa for a roaring siesta, tryptophan coma we man. Shoulder awoke us only a couple of minutes before alarm, improvement man. No party with the rubias tonight, no cavort we man. The only 2 ESs this weekend are far afield, but not unexpected man. Was watching Teleamazonas earlier today -- the big Ecuadorian network. Ecu doesn't have our Thanksgiving, but they do have Black Friday, which was news to me. They showed >300 Ecus lined up a day ahead of the sales at the big MegaMaxi supermarket*. *roughly like a Super Target in the U.S. Some actually broke through the barriers being guarded in vain by security dudes. One teenager-looking Ecu fell down and was almost trampled. The MegaMaxi stores and their "smaller" version, SuperMaxi, are almost always extremely busy.

Oh, gee -- such a deviation from normal. Yawn.
