Uh-uh. We graciously hide our intellect so as not to humiliate inferior primates. -
This clown needs to be drawn & quartered, killed by the neck until dead, covered in honey and staked near large mounds of fire ants, and imprisoned for multiple lifetimes in ultra-maximum security. After that, real punishment should be contemplated.

This thread, which is going nowhere, is now locked to further comment. The topic is not to be restarted and is not to be revisited elsewhere. Another thread that overlaps this one also falls under this status. Administrative action is being contemplated against the accounts of one or more participants. Sam101010, experienced members have patiently given -- and exhaustively repeated -- sensible advice throughout this 6-page thread that you are apparently unwilling to trust or accept. The reality: Everyone applying for a U.S. tourist visa is presumed to be an intended immigrant; thus, your previous travel history and your likelihood of returning home (leaving the U.S. within the duration of your visa, if issued) are the relevant factors considered. You're free to apply for a U.S. tourist visa. If your fears prevent you from applying, you're equally free to honor your fears. It's your choice. Similarly, for now, your VJ account will remain open for you to participate (in other topics) or not, as you may choose, as long as you heed the site's Terms of Service (see link at bottom of any VJ page). Biden Admin Hires NASCAR Pit Crew To Rapidly Change Biden's Diaper Without Anyone Noticing WASHINGTON, DC — In a little-publicized move, the Biden Administration recently recruited a former NASCAR pit crew to make lightning-fast changes to the President's diaper whenever he soils his pants. The scheme was first revealed after NASCAR crew leaders began to be bombarded with ads seeking a "Race Car Pit Crew That Can Also Change Diapers." The ads specified that the crew would have to be able to change a diaper within 3.4 seconds, or "fast enough that nobody can notice it." This is a very happy story. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Feel-Good Friday: 90-Year-Old Veteran Who Wrangles Carts for a Living Gets Help From Crowdfund Campaign [...] In Metairie, Louisiana, Korea Air Force Veteran Dillon McCormick wrangles carts for the grocery store Winn Dixie, even in record-breaking heat. On Memorial Day, former local WWL-TV news anchor Karen Swensen (Ronquillo) saw McCormick hard at work and was highly curious. She turned on her journalism skills and found out his story: [...] https://redstate.com/jenniferoo/2024/06/07/feel-good-friday-90-year-old-veteran-wrangles-carts-for-a-living-gets-help-from-a-crowdfund-campaign-n2175185

Most Significant Scientific Retraction Ever? [...] What makes this retraction so significant is that it has driven research into Alzheimer's treatments for nearly two decades, and treatment approaches based on its conclusions have failed to yield results. If the hypothesis that amyloid protein buildups cause Alzheimer's symptoms is wrong, Lesné is responsible for perhaps billions of wasted research dollars and two decades of scientists following a false lead. Rental EVs: Such a Painful Experience, It Hertz It was cutting-edge, green-as-all-get-out, ahead of the curve, and wicked cool for bragging rights while it lasted, which wasn't very long. CNN Analyst: Let's Face It -- Fani's Case Is Dead Will injustice delayed become injustice denied? Fani Willis and Donald Trump will eventually find out. This week, the appellate court in Georgia agreed to hear the defense objection to the ruling that denied their disqualification motion against Willis. Notably, the court later also froze all action in the case [...] https://hotair.com/ed-morrissey/2024/06/07/cnn-analyst-lets-face-it-fanis-case-is-dead-n3789825

How Far Have Medical Journals Fallen? This Far It's not just medical journals, actually, but the decline in medical journals matters perhaps more than that of any other kind of scientific publication. Earlier today, I wrote about the retraction of an enormously influential paper on Alzheimer's disease in the journal Nature. That paper revolutionized research into how Alzheimer's might be cured, and the fact that it was fraudulent means that 15 years of research and billions of dollars have probably been wasted. Perhaps in that case, Nature might be forgiven because it was a case of fraud. But how does one explain the publication of this article in The Lancet? If this holds, it's about time. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Students Who Occupied Stanford President's Office Face Felony Charges Wednesday morning a small group of Stanford students occupied the office of the president and issued a list of demands. They barricaded themselves inside and refused to leave until those demands, related to Israel, were met. But one of their demands was that the students involved in the occupation would be given amnesty for their actions, i.e. no punishment for the trespassing and vandalism. Rather than negotiate with them, the administration called the police. Police had to break through a door but then went inside and arrested all 13 students who were present. The administration also announced that seniors in the group would not graduate and everyone who was a current student would be suspended. But it turns out that was just the start. The Stanford Daily reports those students have now been charged with felonies. Shades Of Nixon: Biden Refuses To Turn Over Potentially Devastating Tapes Almost exactly 50 years ago, the Supreme Court ordered President Richard Nixon to turn over White House tapes that he had refused to release for nearly a year, citing executive privilege. On July 24, 1974, the court unanimously rejected Nixon’s executive privilege claim. Sixteen days later, Nixon resigned. Fast forward to this year, and President Joe Biden is refusing to release tapes of his interviews with Special Counsel Robert Hur about his handling of classified documents, citing, as Nixon did, executive privilege, with an added twist about the risk of "deep fakes." Biden is, in fact, so determined to keep the tapes secret that he's willing to let his attorney general get slapped with contempt of Congress, a charge two House committees advanced on Thursday for Garland's refusal to comply with a congressional subpoena. Daily Update on Biden Tanking America (Part 2)

God in heaven... read this. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Biden: Slip Slidin' Away [...] read, if you dare, the transcript of Time magazine correspondent Massimo Calabresi and editor in chief Sam Jacobs's recent interview of Biden. It appeared the same day as Linskey and Hughes's story. This is the interview where Biden says—twice—that Russia invaded Russia. Where, immediately after saying, "I'm not going to comment," Biden says that "there is every reason" to believe Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu is prolonging the war against Hamas for political gain. Then Biden says that the 19 percent increase in prices since he became president is due to "shrinkflation" and that he could "take" the Time reporter who asks about his advanced age. The weirdest moment comes when the reporters ask Biden to describe his second-term agenda. That's what we in the biz call a "softball question." And here—excuse the long excerpt, but it is necessary to grasp the full absurdity and danger of having this man continue to serve as president—is Joe Biden's response: [...] https://freebeacon.com/columns/biden-slip-slidin-away/ -
