Welcome to the forum! Wills, medical & financial powers of attorney, and similar estate documents make superlative evidence for ROC, and they're even more crucial to have in "life." If your state has valid templates available online (as does Texas), use those. Otherwise, find a lawyer to draft (at least) powers of attorney at a decent rate. Sure, if it meaningfully supports your case for ROC.

"Proactive correction," typically at the interview, should be enough. Others here may have differing advice.

VAWA, Part 27
TBoneTX replied to TBoneTX's topic in Effects of Major Family Changes on Immigration Benefits
It is Wednesday (yes, we're timely again), and we present our Semiofficial Semiweekly VAWA-Thread Joke: =========================================== ANIMAL PUNS What do you call a polar bear that lives in Florida? A solar bear. What did the teddy bear say after he ate dinner? "I'm stuffed!" What do cats eat on hot days? Mice cream. Last night, I watched a documentary about beavers. It was the best dam show ever! What do you call a unicorn with no horn? A horse. What did the judge say when the skunk came into his courtroom? "Odor in the court!" What do you call a dinosaur that has an excellent vocabulary? A thesaurus. What city has the largest rodent population? Hamsterdam. What's black, white, and blue? A depressed zebra. What do you give a dog when it has a fever? Mustard -- it goes well with a hot dog. What happens when a frog's car breaks down? It gets toad away. What happens when it rains cats and dogs? I don't know, but you can step in a poodle... If you have a bee in your hand, what do you have in your eye? Beauty, because beauty is in the eye of the bee-holder. What do you call a cow that has no legs? Ground beef. What do you call a pig with three eyes? Piiig. What do you call an exploding monkey? A baboom! What would bears be without bees? Ears. Why do seals swim in salt water? Because pepper water makes them sneeze. Why do seagulls swim over the sea? Because if they flew in the bay, they'd be bagels. Where do you find a dog with no legs? Where you left it. A man was hospitalized with six plastic horses inside him. The doctor described his condition as stable. Why do cows wear bells? Because their horns don't work. -

Bona Fide Evidence for Visa Appointment
TBoneTX replied to KMG's topic in IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures
Chiefly rely on what pushbrk says, and include (or bring to the interview, and be prepared to discuss) a very few (= the key words) subsequent chats that confirm your continuing commitment to build a life together. -

Bona Fide Evidence for Visa Appointment

That's fine. Document what you have without overwhelming the consulate with chats -- select several crucial pieces of evidence supporting your bona fide relationship and include those. -
Where in France to do K1 VISA
TBoneTX replied to NathanStephanieJ's topic in K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures
You're welcome. Once he's here, you can voluntarily visit Paris, Texas. Be sure to update your VJ timeline -- the country currently says "Armenia." -
Welcome to the forum! The way you put this is interesting and also gets to the probable heart of the matter. CBP can have any criterion whatsoever for sending vehicles and pedestrians to Secondary: "every 6th car," "every out-of-state license plate," "every vehicle with a W in the license plate," and the like. At one Texas-Mexico port, I (a born USC) was sent to Secondary as part of a CBP training exercise. This took far longer than your 10 minutes. Unless they've flagged you for something, nope. In fact, your visa probably wouldn't have been renewed if you'd had something serious in your records. It certainly can be, but avoid taking it personally. The CBP agents have their own criteria, which vary daily, and they're typically stressed out most of the time (they have a tough job). If you think that you're truly being abused or distinctly treated rudely, a good response is a calm "Sir/ma'am, I'd feel more comfortable if your Shift Supervisor joined us at this point, please."

"Proactive correction" at the consulate will take care of this. He should mention this to the staff member who collects his papers or checks him in, and then again to the consular officer. This might simply be an internal characteristic of how the DS-160 confirmation page is produced.

Bona Fide Evidence for Visa Appointment
TBoneTX replied to KMG's topic in IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures
If it's "more" evidence, it should be "in addition" to what's already been submitted. The consulate has what you sent with the I-130. Do you have evidence from further visits that you made after submitting the I-130? Time spent together in person supersedes all else. -
