For a London Interview, pick one:
A transcript of the most recent tax return -or- a photocopy of each page of the tax return plus a W2 or 1099 wage or pension statement. Until April 15, 2021, the most recent tax return is 2019. If 2020 taxes are filed already before the due date of April 15, then it should be used. This is an easy proof. An employer letter. This can be having the boss write a letter stating the position, whether full time, how long, and current yearly salary. The “letter” can be a printout from HR giving similar info about current salary. Same for a pension statement or a social security statement if the sponsor is retired.  Photocopies of the most recent pay stubs showing weekly, biweekly, or monthly gross income. I think three months of pay stubs should be enough for London. If no salary, then assets can be used to sponsor. Provide the most recent financial statements showing current balance of accounts. Bank letters as stated in the instructions could be used but those are not particularly needed For London. If the person is employed then skip all the bank stuff and assets portion of the I-134. Showing a bunch more than needed doesn’t get them more approved.  You do not need to give London multiple proofs. One of the above will do it. Bring a second along if you’re really nervous.

The fiancé does not have to be the K1 sponsor in London. They want a sponsor and only US Dad will do since your fiance doesn’t qualify.

Photocopies of all of the above are accepted. You take it all and present at the interview. The proofs like employment letters or pay stubs can be a few months old. Tax return date depends  if you Interview after April 15, which is most likely because K1s have been halted a long time and there will be a huge backlog when K1s and all the other categories resume. I wouldn’t bother preparing any of the above until you have an idea that NVC is sending K1s to London and the embassy is up and runnning full speed. Right now they are operating with minimal staff and fiancés from the UK don’t qualify for exceptions to the travel ban for UK to US.

AnnaDi got a reaction from Keithn85 in do we need NOA2 at the interview
Hello everyone. My fiance is coming to see me in Ukraine in a few weeks and staying with me until we get interview, but we didn't get NOA2 yet. Do I need to have an actual NOA2 letter with me at the interview? Does it have to be original or can be a copy scanned by a family and sent to us? We just don't want to cancel our plans and meet later because of that and wait for that letter. Thank you for your replies in advance

My friend I am helping with his K1 applied and sent his package late July, and it was received on August 6th. He just received his NOA2 on March 3rd of this month. It made it to the NVC on March 18th of this month, and he is hoping to call and get his case number this Friday if things go well. I think you should be seeing your NOA2 very soon. Not sure when they received your petition in August, but it doesn't seem to be too far out of line yet.

AnnaDi reacted to Keithn85 in PCR requirements for Foreign citizens visiting Ukraine
I wanted to let everyone know (as I am USC and trying to visit my Fiancee on Thursday) that Ukraine announced earlier today that PCR tests are a requirement of foreign citizens transiting or crossing border of Ukraine, regardless of country color (US is currently Green so normally no testing or self isolation.)  The test needs to be made 72 hours before crossing.  This helps more than 48 hours because some places give the 1-2 days for results.  I ended up scheduling a test with my local doctor an hour ago and am awaiting results hopefully Wednesday or Thursday morning before my flight.  I did request to have my passport number on there also and they will work with me to get it on there.
My biggest thing is this starts 24 March (Wednesday) and I assume it will extend the 2 weeks that the restrictions will.  I am not sure who will be visiting these next couple weeks, but I wanted to give a heads up.

Starting April 1, the Embassy will offer appointments in every immigrant visa category, including K visas and diversity visas. The number of appointments available will be extremely limited until conditions significantly improve, and it will take time to clear the backlog of immigrant visa cases. Even though appointments are now available, it does not mean you will be immediately successful in booking an appointment.

We already have a got our visa but I wanted everybody to know that yours is coming soon!! You all have my thought and prayers!!
