@igoyougoduke How do you decide which federal court to file the mandamus writ against USCIS?

According to USCIS (Section B/3: https://www.uscis.gov/policy-manual/volume-7-part-a-chapter-4), affidavits are generally considered weak evidence. This is not limited to the I-751 form; if you review any of the USCIS REFs, you will see that affidavits are consistently mentioned as a last resort.

I think the rational behind why USCIS ask for the evaluation of equivalency (if you are submitting foreign documents) is because they want to put burden on the applicant to submit documents that are equivalent to US standard otherwise it would be difficult for them to know if a degree is a degree OR a diploma as per US universities standard. I think as per I-944 burden is on the applicant to make sure their positive factors out-weight negatives. Education is one of the positive one.

Its similar to when you apply for grad. admission here in US they ask you to submit the evaluation of equivalency of your foreign degree.

    Per USCIS I-944 instructions:
So, if you are filing before Apr 15th, 2021 and don't have the transcript for financial year FY 2020 yet (which is likely going to be the case looking at the backlog IRS has). You can submit 2019 transcript and bring 2020 copy during the interview.

I think affidavit should work for mis-spelling.

For the reason that in US credit score is a major thing that everyone needs irrespective of the spending habits. I'm also from a country where people usually look credit as a bad thing but i think as long as you can payback your credit bill by the due date and limit spending, Credit Card is a must thing to have in US.

You can always get 1-2 credit cards with $o fees and build your score. You can always use Credit card to pay bills and if you are really concerned about spending too much just pay the balance right away using debit card/bank account.

    1. If there is no credit card, loan on the file there won't be a credit score. Otherwise you would see that on the same report that TransUnion sent you.
    2. if they mis-spelled the name, one thing i would suggest you do is submit a personal affidavit (if you want you can also get it notarized) saying the name is misspelled on the letter and the correct name is this <>.

    3. Is there any reason you both don't have a credit card yet? 13 months without a credit card.?

It's "OR" not "AND". So, just mention annual deductible. You should be good.

You can call Kaiser and ask for the documentation or some sort of receipt that you got the flu shot. USCIS doctor just need to know that you got the seasonal flu shot. You can show doctor your Kaiser medical record as well.
