Bank statements would only be needed if you included assets to qualify on the I-864.  If your income alone is sufficient, assets, and bank statements to back those up, are not needed.

This will be my last comment to not further derail this post as OP received their answer- but I think it’s important that misinformation does not continue to spread and allow unnecessary deaths (or strain on the health care system)- I have yet to see a covid vaccine be the cause of death to thousands of people and ALL vaccines and drugs have side effects-  it’s sad to see someone prefer to choose death from covid over a day with body aches and chills, if they even experience side effects at all (from vaccine). All these deaths from those not vaccinated- I guess it’s Gods way of having Darwin’s theory play out. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I have no time for those who can’t appreciate advances in modern day medicine (that’s why we have a higher life expectancy-thanks to modern medicine) or those who flood their “brains” with conspiracy theories. 

I haven’t seen I-129f petitions being approved in <6 months since 2019.

One year later! I received an email from NVC a few days ago that my case has been shipped to the embassy!!! It feels surreal! 

Sydney emailed us this morning and said that we are on the waitlist for an interview. At least it’s something.

She doesn’t wanna lied to me coz at that time I don’t have time to having conversation to her a lot coz of my work I work at the hospital so kind a busy so it’s my fault coz I was in hurry I know she’s trying to told me something but when I file her petition and submitted she doesn’t know about it so she surprised so I put zero then she told me how come you never say that you already file it. So miss communication at that time

I have had emails from the embassy answered through the immigrantvisaswarsaw@state.gov address. It does take a few days to get a response. 

This thread makes me anxious all over again. 😕 There is no possible way that we can have more than one meeting before the interview at this point. There were plans for another visit and a flight booked, but it was cancelled because of Covid. 

I arrived with K1 and we only met once.
We were only together for one week. CO asked about it during the interview and told him that we can't get more time off from work and that's good.
No RFE, no issues. We have a 10-year age gap.
We filed in December 2008 and got my visa in May 2009.
 
If you guys have genuine relationship, it should not be a problem to do the K1. Just make sure you get quality evidences along the way. It's also good that there's a second meeting scheduled for you guys so hopefully, by the time of the interview, you have two meetings within 2 months.

It took a little over 10 months for our NOA2. I submitted two out of normal processing inquiries, contacted my Senator, and contacted my U.S. Representative. I was never able to reach them on the phone, but I've heard that if you ask for technical support, they will let you through to an agent. We were approved with no RFE. 
 
Also, the K-3 visa is pretty much obsolete at this point, so that wouldn't really be an option for you.

Nothing to add here except I’m really excited to see same sex couples getting visas. My husband and I were married in 2006 and his cousin was trying to get a nursing visa here in the US but had to turn one down because he had a same sex union. We’re hoping to get him over here some day. Best wishes!

If there were a problem, it would be in how quickly you're petitioning for someone else -- not the gender of the beneficiary.
