  1. It is not lost. They have it, December 19 is not that long ago. As mentioned you should wait business 30 days. I remember at some point it took 6 weeks to issue NOA1.
  2. *** Topic moved from Adjustment of Status forum to Removal of Conditions (ROC) forum as this is no longer AOS case ***
  3. *** Topic moved from Progress Reports to Process & Procedures *** Is if an actual Request for Evidence or is it a courtesy letter? Sometimes they auto send courtesy letters for the medical exam which can be safely ignored.
  4. Account letter is not enough. They want actual full statements, all pages even if they’re mostly blank. Send all statements that you have so far since you probably opened it not that long ago. 100 photos is way too much. 10 is enough.
  5. Thread closed in favor of an existing May 2023 filers thread:
  6. He CANNOT adjust his status. That’s not an option for you. Adjustment of status is form I-485 anyway I-130 is to petition a relative and that’s what you’ll need for a consular process abroad, not adjustment of status in the US.
  7. *** Topic moved from Process & Procedures to Progress Reports as the question is about processing time for paper NOA1 ***
  8. Zombie thread closed to further comment. Reply is unlikely; you can try to send a PM.

  12. It’s an overview of what was submitted, it doesn’t mean it was approved which is why some fields are grayed out or decision date says to be confirmed
  13. 18-24 months for your wife’s mother as there’s no numerical limitations on the number of visas that can be issued to immediate relatives of US citizens. I do not think the situation you described qualifies for an expedite; usually it’s the petitioner whose circumstances come into play for an expedite. But of course it’s free to try. For the brother however, since he is not an immediate relative, by law there are numerical limitations on how many F4 visas are issued per year which created a massive backlog. It’s about 20 year wait which probably will only increase with time and it’s not possible at all to ask for any expedited or any exceptions as again, it’s just not possible as the law caps how many are issued a year and you just have to wait for your visa number to become current (~20 years). A little quicker way would be for the mom to petition for him once she becomes an LPR which would take 10 years at the very least. Again, this is due to numerical limitations set in stone I explained above, this time the category is F2B and he must remain unmarried. There’s of course a bigger issue of self harm and mental health issues that come into play at the immigration medical down the line once the interview is scheduled. If he is deemed a danger to himself or others he will be inadmissible and will not be able to receive a visa and immigrate. You have to rest each and study the visa bulletin and how it works. Start googling and reading up on it, that determines when a visa nubs be becomes available.
  14. Another newer continuation thread merged with an existing thread on mental health and self harm and immigration medical. Do not create any more threads on the matter as that’s considered spamming and will lead to admin action against your account. VJ Moderation

  20. *** Topic moved from Progress Reports to Process & Procedures *** 1. They will want to see the actual police report. They will reject it with a note stating that and you’re back to square 1. 2. If you don’t have them as dependents on your taxes then they’re not part of your household count.
  21. I’d add it as self employed the reason the person said that is because USCIS and NVC automatically assign the consulate based on the physical address section. They completely ignore the consulate section which from personal experience is true. I had to request a transfer at NVC but that’s just the way they do it. I always say they should just take out the which consulate you want to pick section out as it’s completely useless.

  23. I do not see it in the authorized vaccine list from WHO or CDC, including the emergency use authorized. So my conclusion would be that this vaccine won’t be accepted
  24. *** A newer duplicate thread was merged with an existing thread for Jan 2024 filers***
