  1. She should receive a separate letter in the mail with the online access code. Once she sets up her own account she can add the cases using this code. It might take a few weeks for the letter to arrive. If it doesn’t arrive, you can chat with a live agent on USCIS and ask for it
  2. The determination is made at POE. If you’re married for more than 2 years at the time of entry to the US, you’re an IR category.
  3. They’re for I-485, I-765, I-131. I-864 doesn’t get a case number Tried those numbers where? To add to your account? Only your wife - the immigrant - can do that.
  4. Online statuses hardly mean anything, especially the big old lie that is “case is actively being reviewed “ so I wouldn’t worry at all.
  5. *** Topic moved to USCIS forum as the question is about USCIS online account ***
  6. As long as there was no misrepresentation, I don’t see an issue with the previous denials.
  7. *** Topic Moved from CR1/IR1 spousal visa forum (consulate processing) to USCIS forum as the question is about USCIS online case status *** No significance. In my experience USCIS online status updates rarely mean what they mean (i.e. actively being reviewed is very far from the truth as it’s probably just sitting somewhere collecting dust).
  8. *** Topic moved from CR1/IR1 process to Regional forum: Canada ****
  9. I’m going off of recent reports in the ISL interview thread where a few people confirmed the petitioner was not let in. So this seems to be real life recent experience. I agree on the downsides regarding questioning/potential Stokes interview
  10. If you filled out and attached G-1145, you might get a text. It can be a hit or a miss but so far in every step for me (K1/AOS/ROC) I received a text message with a case number in a few business days (~2-3). Then in a few weeks (up to 6 weeks), you receive a notice of action (NOA1) in the snail mail with your case number and it also serves as an extension of your current GC for 48 months allowing you to work and travel with it.

  12. You can just cut it, that’s what we did
  13. You should submit exactly what they’re asking for which is one photo for petitioner and one for beneficiary
  14. *** Topic moved to the Administrative Process (AP) forum ***
  15. Zombie thread closed. It’s better to start a fresh thread as timeframes fluctuate constantly.

  19. It can be anyone. They just want the money
  20. Related threads on the topic of getting past tax transcripts merged together. Post all follow up questions regarding this topic in this thread only. VJ Moderation
  21. *** Topic moved from US Embassy & consulate discussion to K1 Process & Procedures ***
  22. That is not applicable for fiancé visas. That is for spousal visas. K1 needs I-134.
  23. Islamabad consulate, like many others, does not allow the petitioner to go in for the interview together with the beneficiary. The best you can do if you’re visiting is to give your passport to your husband to take with him to the interview and show the CO and say that my wife is currently visiting me.
  24. A link to a Facebook group has been removed. We do not allow such links as in the past it has led to safety issues. VJ Moderation
