  3. No You can update down the line when you fill out a DS-160 at the consulate stage.
  4. ~~ Topic moved to Progress Reports ~~ Approval? 16 months give or take. YMMV. It’s impossible to predict how/when/if processing times will improve.
  5. They have suspended the phone line months ago.
  6. ~~ Topic moved to CR1/IR1 spousal visa forum as the question is about the effect on the spousal visa process and subsequent GC ~~
  7. ~~ Duplicate thread removed. Do not start multiple threads asking same or related questions as that’s spamming ~~
  8. It’s possible they didn’t update their page correctly. Have your MIL print out and highlight the CDC page I linked and bring it with her on the day of the medical; this is what the panel physician must follow. Keep us posted, best of luck
  9. ~~ Topic moved from Process & Procedures to Progress Reports ~~
  10. This stopped working sometime in July unfortunately
  11. ~~ Duplicate thread removed. Please do not start multiple threads asking related or similar questions (the is case AP/I-131). Keep all the discussion and follow up questions in one thread ~~ K1s do not need to provide any specific reasons. Things like N/A and TBD are perfectly acceptable. I see @Crazy Cat gave this advice last time and it still stands.
  12. Since the delay is not your fault, i would expect them to extend it automatically.
  13. The only way I know is to request an expedite if you have a job offer letter. Other than that, no. You just wait
  14. ~~ Topic moved from K1 forum to AOS K1 as this is the AOS stage ~~ That should be fine https://www.uscis.gov/i-864p 125% one for household of 2 keep in mind that it’s preferred you make well over that amount as 24k is very little, especially if you live in an expensive state/city This should have been done as soon as she arrived in the US, even before marriage or AOS application. K1s have 75 days out of 90 days to apply for one. Unfortunately, it is too late now. You will have to wait until she received either an EAD or GC.
  15. You need to first clarify which visa you’re adjusting from.
  16. ~~ Topic moved from Process & Procedures to Progress Reports ~~ You should join May NOA2 to NVC thread:
  17. 60-90 days, sometimes over 90 days: I should clarify - this is for total time between NOA2 and NVC entry. Some approved in May are still waiting Also
  18. You do not need both doses. Just the first dose. Do not reschedule the interview. “ COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement Continue to focus on the primary series at this time. Applicants who are due for the first, second or third dose of a primary series should receive the one dose for which they are due, but should no longer be delayed to complete the entire series before completing the exam. Applicants who have completed a primary COVID-19 series prior to the exam require no additional COVID-19 doses for immigration. https://www.cdc.gov/immigrantrefugeehealth/panel-physicians/vaccinations.html#covid-19-vaccination
  19. ~~ Topic moved from K1 forum to SSN forum ~~ If eligible to apply upon arrival for a certain period of time (75 days out of 90), why not? It makes life much easier for a new immigrant.
  20. ~~ Related duplicate thread removed. Please do not start multiple threads asking similar or related questions. Keep all discussion in one thread ~~ CDC did not change anything in regards to the COVID vaccine requirement for immigrant visa medical exams. COVID vaccines are a requirement for immigrant visa applicants. Pfizer vaccines are available in Almaty. Immigrant visa applicants are not green card holders. They become GC holders once they present their IR5 visa to a CBP agent at a POE. In order to get IR5 visa or any other immigrant visa, they need to clear the medical exam which requires a COVID vaccine. Those who already became GC holders before the vaccine requirement went into effect do not need to get vaccinated to enter the US. Entry to the US and medical exams for immigrant visa applicants are different things.
  21. The fact that F2A was current for so many years is unprecedented. It has always been retrogressed before this wave of “C” happened so it’s back to how it used to be.
  22. ~~ Related duplicate thread removed. Please post all questions relating to one topic (medical exam appt) in one thread. Thanks ~~
