  1. you can expect to wait about 11 and 1/2 months after you file for it be approved.
  2. Btw, if your wife changes her name, make sure she also notifies the INSS (after getting the updated RG). Btw, the cartório will help getting the documents to the translators (who I found their website was not available much).
  3. Have your fiancée go to the local cartório and get info on what you need to provide and if it needs to be translated. I remember for RN I had to get an FBI form from the Criminal Justice Information Services division showing no arrest info. I had to get a CPF before getting married. I had do a single status affidavit, take it to a notary public, and then get the secretary of state to apostille it. And i had to get an apostille for my birth certificate. All while Covid-19 was new....
  4. Is your mother-n-law married? i-864a are used for married partner of a joint sponsor.
  5. And if you are employed you are responsible to file US federal taxes each year.
  6. And i'm guessing you mean an updated i-864 and updated TAX RETURN TRANSCRIPT/w2 (if filing jointly), maybe an updated police statement as well? Am i missing anything on my list?
  7. Either way, it makes sense to have US based address for any mail the government sends you. Though from what I saw, it's always available online before it arrives via mail. As long as you intending on living in the USA with your husband, revealing the Egypt address is no trouble.
  8. well main questions i have, 1) Will you have residency in Egypt to stay with your husband? Reminder this process takes 18+ months (from i130 to passport with visa in hand) 2) And if you are not in the US, who is going to sponsor your husband (financially)?
  9. I had sent them in when i filed the i-130 online. As i mentioned, we did not get an RFE. You should follow the directions of the RFE, which should indicate if you have to mail them or submit them online. Also of note, i got both the divorce decree and divorce settlement certified (a fun process while COVID-19 was new).
  10. Why are you bothering with a zoom marriage? Also note you have to meet your paper wife, before you can file for the i-130. You don't need affidavit of support. In my i-130 i included photo's of us, and from the wedding, and my passport showing how many times I had been in Brazil.
  11. I think you are confusing items. per this youtube video, the cutout only applied to people who have been requesting the visa since 2019. Th
  12. Maybe what you send was not what they were looking for? I know for my CA divorce, i had a one page divorce decree, and a multiple page divorce settlement. I sent in both, and did not get an RFE.
  13. Note if filing jointly with IRS, NVC will probably want to see your W2 in-addition to the TAX RETURN TRANSCRIPT.
  14. Congratulations, be aware in the main forums, the posts should be in English.
  15. I was able to get the transcript on August 15th, so before the refund arrived.
  16. that unless means if you filed jointly, you need to include the W-2 and any Form 1099 along with the IRS return transcript.
  17. The i-90 only comes into play when he is issued green card that is incorrect, as you have to return the wrong green card at that time.
  18. Depending on the country, it might be cheeper to get the vaccines re-done before the medical. Or you can get Titer Tests done to see if you have the antibodies.
  19. Another example why it's better to read the instructions and forms, and file yourself. Most cases can be done by yourself, perhaps with help of this forum.
  20. If you actually arrive in USA under that condition you would be returned to where you came from.
  21. Typically with the USA, you have to be outside the country for an equal or longer time before you return.
