Only PSA birth certificates are acceptable. But if you are the joint sponsor, why do you need to submit your Philippine birth certificate? Other than your financial documents, only your proof of USC/LPR status and US domicile are required.

  4. Upload the scan of the I-864 to CEAC. 1 upload for each child's case. Bring a print-out of the scanned I-864 to the visa interview.

  10. No need for affidavit of support from you. Neither I-864 nor I-134. Do your in-laws have valid visas or ESTA?

  13. *** Moved from IR1/CR1 Progress Reports to IR1/CR1 Process & Procedures *** If you need to work immediately, CR1 is the right process for you. Although staying and adjusting status is a legal option for you right now while you are in the US, you would not be authorized to work without an EAD work permit or a green card. As others have already said, either of those will take many months. Also, no such thing as getting SSN from the court. SSN is issued by SSA, and will only be available in your case if you get either EAD or GC.
  14. Again, I-485/I-765/I-131 are not needed for those pursuing spouse visa. Please refer to the sub-forum I linked above, if your case is AOS, not CR1/IR1.
  15. NOA2 date does not matter anymore for DQ. When did you submit your documents to CEAC? The final submission date is what matters for the clock to DQ.
  16. *** Moved from AOS from K1 Visas forum to Working & Traveling During US Immigration, to be among other threads about authorization to work ***
  17. If you want to file taxes as MFJ, your husband must have either an SSN or ITIN. No exception. His Nigerian number is irrelevant. If your tax guy is really good, he should know how to apply for ITIN for your husband. Without SSN or ITIN for your husband, you could have filed MFS instead. Then amend your filing to MFJ after he moves to the US with his immigrant visa and gets his SSN.

  21. You were on a tourist visa, so you visited the US, not lived there. No need to include vacation stays in address history.
