  1. Thank you. the officer said they won’t accept print offs or ones I have on my phone. He said I need to courier them in. I got the courier instructions. so I got my husband to go get the certified copies of the divorce certificates and courier them to me in the uk and then I will use the free courier service the embassy has instructed me to do. no previous marriages involved with USCIS
  2. So I have finished at the embassy. They actually asked for my husband’s divorce decrees which I didn’t have. On the checklist it only asked for my divorce decree. Which I had. So basically the officer who interviewed me said I have had to click the refuses box but all looks good we just need the divorce decrees from your husbands previous marriage. I have to get them couriered. They kept my passport and will courier all to the service I signed up for. He said all looks good. But I am just in a ####### mood right now. I do hope all is ok. also a few things were a blur after that. I wasn’t sure if to get all 3 divorce decrees from my husbands previous marriages or just the last one. Anyway I have asked him to get all 3 certified copies from the clerk in the county. The officer mentioned something about electronically filed but to be honest I guess I blurred a little and my head wasn’t there I was thinking about things. I had no idea what he meant about electronically filed? I asked my husband to just go get certified copies and have him courier to the embassy. any advice would be great. Thank you
  3. So I went through and confirmed my email. And now has these options. None of these apply to me? So now what? ok I clicked register interview. And then I put all info in and got this response see attached. man’s I have an interview date. Unless it’s too early and it isn’t in the system yet. I will wait till next week.

  5. Ok thank you. I got my interview date already from the NVC. It is all so confusing!! They ask you register for courier delivery service and then ask you questions which are not relevant to me lol!!
  6. Hello. i have my interview in sept in London. I am so confused!! I have a link to register for courier service. And I have no idea what option to click? I’m not on a K visa. I’m on a CR1 spousal. Also I don’t have a DS-160 number. Any help is much appreciated thanks.
  7. Oh how interesting. We got married and we are just so sad to have to part and wait. I need to work. How long does a AOS last? But too be honest like I said I need to carry on working and I would like to transfer with my work so I guess I need to carry on with the cr1 process.
  8. Exactly thank you for clarifying that. I wasn’t too happy about it when she said her friends and other family have done that. They over stayed their visa. Got married and then AOS and then apparently they were forgiven and given rights. That is such a gamble. And I want to do it correct. And it frustrates me when we all go though the correct channels and I hear this. I think she shouldn’t advise on immigration. Your correct.
  9. Am currently in the us. I leave soon but I agree with you for sure. I was trying to tell my friend about this and she is like my friends overstayed their visas and got a AOS and they forgave them and granted them rights. I know that’s not true. But I had to put the comment out there to show here you can’t just do that. we are currently going through the cr1 process and we are doing the correct steps. I go back and carry on working and getting stuff ready etc etc. but she was just convinced you don’t have to go back!! We all want to do the right thing. One of her quotes was that process the cr1 is for people who can’t get into the usa. But I was saying no it’s for spouses. Etc etc. but thank you for your comment and I will have to tell her she is incorrect.
  10. Hey Guys. i have a rather adamant friend who is convinced that I the non US spouse does not need to go back to my home country after marriage. Apparently she says I can go to the court and register and get given my SSN number there and then and then work. we have filed the CR1. Because I fell that is the correct way to do it. So regarding what my friend is saying and confusing me is that true what I have written above or are we correct to be doing the cr1 process? I haven’t heard about spouses staying in the usa after marriage and not going back and getting a green card and Ssn by registering at a court? many thanks emma
  11. Could I ask a question? regarding the I-129f form. In the section biographic information. Is that the beneficiary or Us citizen that fills that out? Thanks
  12. Hello. we will be filing our CR1 soon and wondered If anyone has a recommendation of documents I should add to help with our case? I have photos of what’s app messages between us and social media posts printed off. US Bank statement with our names on. Would you recommend we get a letter from loved ones like a affidavit notorized about our relationship? many thanks Emma
