  1. Yes it is legit. Hope they can file again. Thank you all
  2. Hello everybody. This is strange for me and I would like to share this incident. A week ago my friend with his American wife gone for an AOS interview for green card. During the cause of interview my friend was asked for a original previous marriage which he said was in the car...the officer after interviewing him asked him to go get the copy from the car...that he will be interviewing his wife before he returned ...he came back and the office make a copy and asked them to wait for decisions in 7 days. Two days ago they received a letter that he has been denied...that his wife withdrew her I-130 application filed on his behalf that he has 33 days to leave the country. That the officer asked the his wife if the marriage was legit that she was been threatening and he was under pressure to sign for the withdrawal by the officer .if not she can go to jail or fine. The marriage is legit...they legally married and live together for past two years. Now my friend has 33 day to depart US. His wife now regretting her actions. What can they do at this point. The withdrawal is not appeallabe according to the letter.
  3. You have to summit all your paper work to the appropriate office address as required. Long waiting does not require you to use another office address. If you do anyway they will re send to the appropriate location office for processing . Goodluck
  4. My cousin just received a letter from USCIS intent to Deny I-130 for his wife abroad because of wrong accusations of his sister when both were teens who wrongly called police on him for fighting her and that case was dropped...and secondly his father who was a drunker then also called police accusing him of domestic violece..case dropped. That was 16 years ago. Now Immigration is demanding for documentation for Intent to Denial his I-130 for his wife. He needs assistance as to what to do to avoid the denial.
  5. My son filed I 30 and I 30A only for his wife coming from Nigeria . I am wondering if that is the only forms required to bring his wife here,? it has been 8 months now. Please any advice will help him to migrate his wife here soonest. Is that the only required forms to bring a spouse to USA after marriage? . what he do now They have been married since September , 2017.
  6. Please can anyone tell me if is proper to wear native dress such as Nigeria dress well made to spouse change of status interview. Does it have to be English wear?
  7. Since interview is in two weeks, now changing ID address will raise unnecessary red flags Since they been married and live together for 1year 6 months.
  8. Yes he has international ID, but his US citizen wife ID still showing her formal address instead of current residential address they both live now and at  the time of applying for Change of Status and I-130. Do we need to get a new ID for his wife, interview in two weeks. And beside, the three references letters from people that know's them have to be notarized?
