OliaNaumchuk got a reaction from Chauncey in US Embassy in Moscow - Still Closed
The hospital was really far from the city center where we were staying so we had to get there on a bus which is not ideal during the pandemic. Then turned out the only way to pay for our testing was at the post office 20 minutes away from the hospital. The price for 2 people was $291.

HI! I was reading this thread, hoping for some ideas, but it looks like we all have the same information. My husband's been approved since early September 2020 for his Visa Interview in Moscow, it was a nice comfort just to read the posts here and not feel alone (or like I'm doing something wrong). I actually have been calling (doesn't work) and the e-mailing, just because I can't help myself haha. I did get an answer back via e-mail, but it was no new information.
This was the answer I had, on December 10th 2020,
"Thank you for your inquiry. Routine immigrant and nonimmigrant visa operations remain suspended. We are not processing immigrant visa at this time. Please follow up when routine immigrant visa operations resume. There is no action for you to take now.
We will resume routine visa services as soon as possible but are unable to provide a specific date at this time. "
I know it's not really helpful, but that's what I have to share.

Also, you quoted me. If you weren't talking to me in particular maybe you should've just posted a regular comment and I wouldn't have commented back

You get offended by people's remarks much more than I do from what I've seen and oftentimes you are just rude instead of helpful. Maybe you shouldn't post so much on here in that case or perhaps try to dial it down a bit to just helpful advice instead of getting your panties in a wad 😉

Finally. I picked my fiancée up from the airport (she’s from the USA, arrived in the U.K.) and whilst we were talking, an app alert popped up.

Good day, Filers - Here is the latest update on March cases. Despite there being a holiday this week, we still saw 234 approvals.
There are 185 outstanding RFEs (which is 35 more than last week) and I'm not sure if it's a mistake in the data... but 2 new rejections. I'll check that again next week to be sure.
That's now a total of 1482 March approvals now, with 2475 applications still waiting for a final yes/no. It's getting close to 1,000 March approvals a month now, so we should see March come to a near close around February/March time.
(as always, please delete the photo from responses)
Have a great weekend. (and stay strong for those of us still waiting)

OliaNaumchuk reacted to SalishSea in How long it will take for I-129F to be processed?
According to USCIS.gov, current processing time for the I-129F petition is 5.5-7.5 months. So, you should be hearing something between January and March 2021.

It's usually listed as incorrect forms or improper payment - Something they pick up on instantly.

It's soon to be your favourite time of the week - "March Cases update time"
As you can see, The USCIS Case Tracker shows 209 March approved Cases - that's 100 new approvals since last weekend.
138 RFEs outstanding - which is 50 more than last week
193 Rejections, which is 5 less than last week (perhaps they were contested or corrected)
But there's definitely movement!
I started at 1:10am UK time (I re-set my body clock to live on eastern time) and it took just about 2 hours to update... I think I have a system in place to get it done in a little over an hour and 30 minutes next week!
Stay strong. Stay positive. Our time is coming!

I don't necessarily disagree that placing legal action is the right move, but for your to accuse this person of being "entitled" because they're waiting to find out if they're allowed to move to the next stage of being with the love of their life is unfair. Maybe try being more compassionate with your approach, even if you are speaking the truth and setting expectations, there is a better way of doing this.

That is ridiculous advice. "Punitive damages due to stress"? So entitled. No one is promised an approved petition by any particular date. NOA2 dates have fluctuated widely over the years, from 2 or 3 months to close to one year.
If this is how you handle the wait time for just this one small part of the overall immigration journey, you're in for some hard times.

The
You're putting words in my post, I'm not demanding anything, I'm just disgusted at how long its taking compared to what a K1 used to take.
As for comparing this to a gift, a Gift does not involve money, when you collect money for anything, a product or service, that alone gives you certain rights, it's called a Contract, which in this case is subject to approval... If BOTH parties meet that approval and you paid a fee for it, you are entitled to it or have that money refunded to you.
