Send an email to the US Embassy in Jakarta and ask them the question about your issue with the delivery process and they are best to tell you.  The US Embassy Website gives you their email address to contact them and my experience has been tha they always reply.

Human Resources departments here in the Colonies can contain the dregs of the company, and hiring managers may not understand what an MEng is.  Confront this through a strong cover-letter that explains what you've told us here.

Actually, the numbers game might be your biggest obstacle.  Are you relying on job ads in LinkedIn and similar portals?  Listings can attract many dozens of applicants within just a few hours of posting.  You have to be lucky in timing.
 
In job-hunting, as in life, sometimes it's not so much what you know, but who you know.
 
Suggestion #1:  Identify some area companies where you'd like to work.  Learn who the appropriate department head is.  Call (don't e-mail) and ask for a 20-minute in-person appointment (call it an informational interview) to gain his/her advice on your best opportunity and how you should proceed.  Even if no opening currently exists, the manager will now know you.  Repeat this process.  You might even volunteer to work in a unit for free for a week or two.
 
Suggestion #2:  Try this idea, previously posted by the member Darnell:

Each city has a chamber of commerce. Find it.

Once you find it - talk with the secretary - tell her you want a schedule of events and let her know you'd like to attend.

Then - go in person to the Chamber of Commerce Office - talk with the President of the Chamber, tell him/her you want to volunteer at several of their events.

Attendees at chamber events are business owners and sales geeks, all looking for new business.  It usually is an informal-enough gathering where you can approach people and talk with them.

Now, the cool thing about being a volunteer there - is that you will be talking to everyone at least once - you might be at the reception table, you might be at the greeters table, you might help to run the audio/video system - whatever - but - the point is that you can meet everyone there, face to face.

Attend 2 or 3 of these, and folk remember you. When folk remember you, they will remember you are seeking employment and will consider you, because you're just not some name on a piece of paper - they met you at a chamber event and know that you were volunteering, helping out the chamber.

PS - live in a really small town? go to the biggest town that's within 15 miles of your house.

today 02/01 my husband received his Visa. after more than 3 years we will be united in the US. his interview was on 01/29 and was approved right away . from the amount of photos(lol)  and confidence we finally did it!

Congratulations.  I guess this is what I was expecting for this week.. NEXT WEEK here is what I am expecting...

Omg…..never gonna get the approval….congrats to those around my 9/6/21 filing date I am so happy for y’all but more and more depressed by the day when I can’t get any information. I’m over this process. 

I scanned through this thread and compiled this table.  Also I was waiting to see NVC's new timeline this morning.  THEY ARE DOING GREAT.. doing review in 42 days.  They reviewed till 10/24/2022.  If the same pace is maintained.. here is what my estimate, we should start getting cheers as early as 12/13/22 Tuesday.

We submitted the I-864 form and 3 years of tax transcripts. 

They accepted them, however asked for my husband to submit a proof of employment. 
 
I think is because he started to work in US on summer this year. He is American, but had never work there as his parents moved to Spain when he was a teenager. 
 
Now we have submitted the job offer letter as well as pay-statements that proof he exceeds the HHS Poverty Guidelines. 
 
I hope this is good enough and we get DQ soon 🤞🏼

I guess this message comes when you upload the documents in the span of more than 10 days..   This is what I noticed.  If it says "DS-260 review note" - the will not review until all are submitted, then it looks like it is normal.  At least I say one case 2 months back like this.  But for me now I did not get any note and I started submitting from 19th and finally submitted all today.  I am going to see if I get anything tonight...

My wife had her visa interview in Guangzhou on Monday. Everything went smoothly and she was approved! Just waiting on that passport now.

I got an RFE too, same priority date, Potomac SC. It was hard to see the RFE, but at least I know someone looked at my application. Keep us updated! We will be celebrating approvals soon 😊

There isn't a "clock" that they are going by, so being transferred doesn't affect the amount of time much. They're still reviewed in roughly the order of PD.

When it asks you to say your receipt no. give it a wrong one a couple of times and it'll connect you to a person. However, all they can do is tell you what you can already find out online and confirm where your petition is at. 
 
Depending on which service center you're at the inquiry date is different. 

Hello all,
I have been reading all of the posts for the September, 2021 filers for I130 petitions. I thought it was time I jumped in here with you all to let you know You Are NOT Alone! Our PD is September, 27, 2021. We have been in AR since early March. Our SC is Potomac but our lawyer said it was switched in early September to Texas. I will call Emma to speak to a "live" agent to confirm or deny this statement. I miss my husband terribly. But, I have booked my ticket to visit him during Thanksgiving break, Lord willing. I check my case status regularly and even sent a notice of inquiry to report that I had not received a case transfer notice. They replied back that I would receive an answer at the end of September. The earliest that I can inquire about our case is in late December. So, I am just as tired and frustrated with just the first step of this process. So, I say--we can and will make it through.  God will see us all though this journey. Hang in there!  Don't quit! Hang in there!😀
