Hi, 
 
I applied for my current social security card a few days after moving here  (March 2020) on a K1 Fiancè visa. It says "Valid for work only with DHS authorization". Since February 2021 I have been working full time. Do I need to update my social security card to remove the valid for work only, before we submit the I751?

I had my Green Card interview today in Chicago. We submitted our K1 AOS package May 23rd 2020, so I feel like things moved pretty fast considering everything! Our interview was at 8am and the officer was a nice & pretty straightforward, guy! He asked us basic questions & took copies of our apartment lease, my job information/copy of 1st pay check etc, apartment insurance info & my health insurance info. 
 
We were in the interview room about 30 minutes total, and that included our officer spending 5 minutes telling us about the office's air filtration system and how everyone in the office drinks Mountain Dew!! lol
 
Our case wasn't approved on the spot, our letter he gave us says "your case is being held for review. At this time USCIS does not require any further information or documents from you"
 
Hopefully it won't be too long until we are approved!!

My Green Card interview was scheduled today!! 😃
 
Our AOS package was received May 28th 2020, so going by current timelines for the Chicago office, we seem to be ahead of schedule!

I think so, but with all the Covid delays who knows. I would go to the appointment and let the interviewer tell you how to proceed. If he needs anything further from you, he will tell you exactly what is needed and you send back directly to him so he can approve. Short delay if anything is needed. No point in spending several hundred dollars guessing if your medical is not sufficient when it should be. Keep us updated on how it goes.

The I-693 would not be in your file unless you did a new medical in the US with a Civil Surgeon before AOS. The Panel Physicians who do visa medicals in foreign countries use a Dept of State form number. The medical results from the Panel Physician in London will be in your file.

They will have your package there on file.  They will even go over some questions that were asked in the application again with you. 

They have everything you submitted, in a file in front of them, when conducting the interview.  No sense bringing what they already have.

As the spouse and father of my children who just attended, they will have your entire package there when you arrive. My wife was unable to attend because she has spent the entire year in the hospital. Because of that they granted her a medical waiver. In your case one of the things they asked me if I had anything that showed joint ownership: ie utility bill, bank account, mortgage etc. Since we had just got married prior to her hospitalization, the gave us a pass. For the son, he showed his recent W-2 that demonstrated he was working. I attended the USCIS office in Philadelphia and I was impressed how helpful the people were.  Good luck and I hoped I answered some questions for you.

My notice is coming in the mail today according to Informed Delivery. Will let you know what day the interview is for when I get it.
Again, my local office is Chicago.

My notification was on Feb 17th and still waiting. I hope it comes in in the next couple of days. Will keep you posted since I’m also a Chicago filer.
 
Any other Chicago AOSers out there? What dates are they scheduling the interviews for?

I got the electronic notification that I had an interview scheduled on Jan 11th, and the physical letter arrived on Jan 16th. So, for me, 5 days.
