Brazasian got a reaction from Sinead91 in Brazilians Fiancees !
@Sparkle Sparkle
I guess you should know a couple things:
- Once you get your NOA2, you need to check your country’s specific topic, because every embassy has different procedures for interview and medical exams. So any information from someone that’s from a different country isn’t really useful to you.
- We don’t speak Spanish in Brazil. We speak Portuguese.
- Everyone still reaches for the experts here for official information. The private groups are more for sharing personal experiences related to our specific country.
- I am a September filer and we have our messenger group from people all over the world. Everyone agrees that it was really good to bond with people who have the same visa timeline. We were just sharing feelings and our VJ topic is still active. One thing doesn’t invalidate the other. It just adds to it. You should try it.

Brazasian got a reaction from Trese in SEPTEMBER 2019 I-129F FILERS
I never got any notifications. I was checking my case on the USCIS website and saw the approval.
We got it on December 17th and the NOA2 letter arrived on December 21st.
If you don’t want to rely on official notifications, download the Case Tracker app as @Trese said.

Brazasian got a reaction from Ljubcasta in December 2019 K-1 NOA2 to NVC to Embassy
You mean you called NVC?
So it took 18 days for them to receive your case after NOA2?

We second that Case Tracker app. It's really good. That's how we first found out about the NOA2 and then checked the USCIS website to confirm.

Guys, we're finally approved! 💖
NOA1: 09/04
NOA2: 12/20
107 days waiting, all in all.
Thank you so much @Brazasian! She was the one who told me we got approved!

Thank you! 💖
We were tracking our cases through an app, Case Tracker. It's available on both Android and iOS platforms. If you're 'following' a certain case, you get notifications for updates. @Brazasian was the one who first saw the update for mine, since I wasn't actively checking at the time.
I also signed up at the USCIS website itself for updates, and I actually did get an email notification when we got approved. But I only saw the email much later.
Anywho. You'll get your update in no time at all. Just enjoy the holidays and the days should breeze right though. You'll be approved before you know it.

You are awaiting your case to arrive at NVC and waiting for your NVC case number now.

Both. If you get the number then you can following your file enrount to your embassy and you can also begin some of the process their for your embassy. Find the UK sub-forum here on VJ where there are others are discussing what is needed and how things are completed in the UK. Go to the top of this page and in the blue ribbon select "Forums" and then scroll 3/4 down the page to find your country. Good luck.
Read the PDF file on the first page in the first post where you will learn more about this stage.

RFE requested more evidence of "bona fide" relationship.
I had included everything in the original application, I guess they just wanted additional info?
I was lucky, as I had just came back from my second visit so I had more of everything.

It's up to you. If you feel like making a new one then do so. Like Sarge said it may save you from any delays.
-
Brazasian reacted to Greenbaum in SEPTEMBER 2019 I-129F FILERS
Call USCIS. Tell them you would like a copy faxed to you on the RFE because you are leaving the country and will not be back for a month and that you will not be there to receive the mail to answer the RFE. A tier 2 is the only one that has access to those systems. They can also read it to you (most will do this but some don't) and let you know what they are requesting.

Is that a requirement listed in the P3? If so yes if not no.

Don't forget to let them now they should also "bring the kitchen sink" as it may be asked for. Why do more then do when do will do?

Brazasian reacted to Sarge2155 in December 2019 K-1 NOA2 to NVC to Embassy
Yes its prudent to update your letters of intent. The beneficiary will hand carry to the embassy in case they are asked for. Always better safe than sorry.

You and @Sarge2155 have been making this journey a little easier and less scary, and also my fellow September filers.
I’m looking forward to seeing everyone here getting their NOA2. I hope everyone can get it in 2019.
