  1. Hi everyone,

we filed the I-751 on 10/13, and received two notices last weeks.

    (1) USCIS account set up notice (issued on 10/19)
    (2) Notice indicating that they can use our fingerprint in the system (issued on 10/19)

But when we checked the USCIS account, there's also the green card extension letter issued on the same day (10/19) which we still didn't receive it yet.

Does anyone know if we can request that notice letter to send to us again? Can we travel with the notice copy download from the USCIS account?

    Thank you,
    Yuteng

    Hi all,

We filed on 10/13. Received two I-797C notices on 10/19 with case number begins with #IOE.

    (1)USCIS account access notice
(2)USCIS notice for receiving the application and that they can reuse our fingerprints from previous record.

However the check hasn't been cashed yet as of today. Does anyone have any ideas on how soon we will receive the green card extension notice?

    UPDATE***
I just checked on my USCIS account, it shows that the green card extension notice was also sent on the same date as the other two notices. But we didn't received it yet.

    Thank you!

  4. It depends on your fiancé's Insurance company and the plan that she has.

    (1) Some insurance companies won't allow you to be added until the new cycle starts which will be around end of the year.
    (2) Some won't add you until you have a SSN
    (3) Some can add you to the plan immediately if there's a life event changes. (Such as Marriage)

Your fiancé would need to ask the insurance company to confirm the above; and ask her company if they are willing to add you to the plan.

My NOA2 is also expiring soon, is there a link somewhere which states that the embassy will auto extend our NOA2 period?

I wanted to be proactive just in case, and have emailed the nvc, and also faxed the Tokyo embassy asking for an extension.  Neither have responded as of now.

We have a group of K1 applicants from Taiwan with expired NOA2. All of us just scheduled our interview or recently the visa recently. So i would say not to worry about the expired NOA2 :)

  6. The announced the suspension of all routine visa service.... does that mean including reviewing I129F (NOA2)? Or for interviews? I am confused :( we waited 117 days already...

The US embassy in South Korea stated that the suspension is for all countries with a level 2, 3, or 4 U.S. Department of State travel advisory. Taiwan is at level 1. I am so confused about all these sudden changes..
