You can ask if she will do marriage counselling. Many therapist are doing phone and video sessions.  But it looks like she is done and most likely there is a lot more to this than what you are saying.

When someone is done that is it they are done.

You need to be careful, do not try this bull that you are head of the household ####### that will not fly here.

If she won't do counselling then leave and move on.

They are allowing people to leave Australia. We applied for travel exception. We stated that he has an approved K1 visa and he will be moving to the States asap. We had to attach proof of the visa and ties in the United States. We included joint bank account with the United states address, chat history, pictures of the visa and the k1 envelope, and for us a birth certificate of the child we have together. We also had to state his housing and employment status and how he will end his housing and employment when he has travel authority. He was approved and is allowed to leave.

It's not stated on the site that any kind of family visa is included but it is, as long as you're living/moving outside of Australia.

I don't believe there will be any issue applying to leave the country.  What the Govt is CURRENTLY trying to stop is people just heading overseas on a vacation.  Once we are able to have an interview and receive the passport back in the mail I don't see any reason you won't be able to travel.... For some of us that could be soon.. for others like me we have at least a couple of months before our packet arrives in Sydney as we just got our NOA2.  Under any NORMAL circumstances this would be about 2 months from approval to being able to book interview....I've been monitoring this thread and a couple of others, plus some facebook posts and I'm yet to see an emergency interview being authorised for anything other than pending deployment (at least for our categories)... I'm resigned to the fact that as a 'normal' application I won't be able to get an emergency interview... but I'm hoping that in 2 months time when my packets is potentially here we might be back to being able to at lease schedule interviews.

Ultimately it'll be what it'll be for the most part... As nice as it would be to be able to get there sooner, that also can present issues at least for our situation where my family will likely not be able to travel internationally for a trip for the wedding....Even though we have 90 days from arrival to get married and submit AOS...who knows when 'general' international travel will be allowed by the government.

@Rosie_Emma91 that's the new public charge form I believe?  We prepared ours just in case since it was asked for since the new rules went into place in February.  I am glad to hear that it hasn't been asked for at this point but, we're ready if they do.

Thank you! I spoke to the airline and they didn’t mention any additional fees upon arrival either. The pet relocation company says its best to use them since things always go wrong and pets can get left behind, but from I’m seeing here that doesn’t seem the case. Thanks for the reply! it’s making me feel a lot better about organizing it myself.

Good luck with the process everyone! 👍

We didn't personally need that form. I don't think that this form applies to this stage of the process. Follow the checklist that the consulate gave you prior they will tell you what forms to bring. It doesn't hurt to include more evidence of financial stability but I don't think you need to bring that form.

Hello  Are you applying for a K1 visa? I didn't need to completed that form and I don't think it's needed for the K1 Visa. I just completed all the forms as required in their checklist.

We briefly checked with pet relo but their fees are ridiculous
Report:  Our cat was suuuuuuper resentful (for like 2 whole days LOL) but she got over it after the kids spoiled her with some of the gourmet stuff.   She’s queen of the house now

We checked our cat in at the counter and she flew over with us from the mideast wherever they put checked baggage in the plane.

We picked her up in a different area of baggage claim, she was smelly and howling.  Customs wanted her outa there and waved us through.  Never a question or a look at any papers or whatever

Make sure you meet the airline requirements and whatever country you’re transitioning through.  We flew KLM and they were very helpful in informing us exactly what was needed and required for our flight.

Papers fly with the cat, we carried a copy with us as well.

That’s a ripoff.  There is no customs fee and the “ticket” is $300 or so for the cat to fly with you

Thanks!! Yeah, i explained to the consulate hat my fiancé was deploying soon and I needed to get there before he left and they allowed me to get an emergency interview. All i did was email them to explain my situation and I included a letter from my fiancés command stating he was due to deploy. There was no form to fill out. You should email the Sydney consulate and check if they’ll process you as an emergency interview!

I think the general time frame they give you is 1 to 2 weeks after the interview, and then you'll receive your passport with the visa. When i went to my interview, they said it might take longer because there's not enough people in the office now processing the visas.

Just got my K1 visa approved! The whole interview probably lasted 5 minutes. The consulate is really understaffed at the moment and it seems like there is only one person doing the actual interviews and the rest are support staff. I saw two other applicants - both applying for a spousal visa. They got approved too!

Thank you!! I was going to buy tickets once I got my passport back but I also noticed that the United flights are pretty pricey now. They’re nearly double for some dates I was looking at! I did think about Air New Zealand but I wasn’t sure if they would let me transit through Auckland.

When are you guys planning to book tickets?
United just went up in price significantly in the last couple days. I'm hoping that they will go down after the May 1. Air New Zealand is also an option btw.

Thanks! I just emailed the consulate explaining my urgent need to travel to the US and attached some supporting evidence. Then they replied and gave me instructions on applying for a formal request. For my case, it was because my fiancé is about to be deployed next month.

If you have an urgent need to go to the US, I would recommend anyone to speak to your consulate and explain your situation.

ECCK reacted to Jessica lam in My fiancé have stood me up twice
Hi everyone, i come to Usa twice by K1 visas with the same peritioner. The first time it didn’t work out because he said he had cold feet even though we had engagement before already. We bought the rings and the dress for me. He acted like i am the one but when it came to marriage. He said he got used to be single so i had to leave. So i left usa the first time before the expired date. 2 years after that, he tried to convince me that letting me go is huge mistake and asked me to give him another chance. During that time, i studied overseas in a third country so we applied the k1 visa again because we didn’t have enough time to get married in my home country. And also I believed that he was regretful and he wanted to make up to me. Now when i only have 1 month left to get married. He said he feels scared of marriage even though i asked him millions times before getting here whether he is sure about marriage with me. And he said yes. He asked me to have faith in us. He also wrote down 4 pages of timeline how he ###### up and asked consulate for sympathy to give him another chance to get married with me.

But life is not a movie. He is ###### me up again. Now he just said he cant get married with me even though I don’t do anything wrong this time. I have checked the flights to go back my home country recently and it seems like they restrict the flights from usa now. Another thing is even if i can go back my home country on time, i will be isolated in an area far from my home because of the virus. I feel so devastated and heartbroken now. I also feel speechless about how he could treat me that way. I dont know what I should do now. Any advice is welcome.
