  1. you need to take care of tax debt and finding a job/ i can see from what u write why she is stressed Trying to expedite the visa will not help your situation and more than likely get her denied at interview U need a job and a plan to support her which includes health care insurance
  2. Who is a dependent I-134? For "Dependents Information," anyone whom the sponsor has listed on his or her tax returns should be entered. This could be a parent living with u if u support them 6 months or more
  3. i am the one with the 4 page RFE and 25 pound response Lawyer said it would take months for USCIS to go thru the documents in 2 days they sent all on to NVC/ they didn't have time to read any of it
  4. I see you are from Pakistan and that usually means long AP while the embassy does extended AP for security checks u say "again put me in AP" was this 2nd interview for spouse visa? or a different visa?
  5. Plus , she can not come to work (care for the wife or new baby) on a tourist visa
  6. you could fly 1st into Canada for the US inspection and then on to US to avoid issues https://www.cbp.gov/travel/preclearance look under Canada and CNN reported 9 minutes ago that the Senate proposed a bill but House did not approve it https://www.cnn.com/politics/live-news/government-shutdown-deadline-09-29-23/index.html Transportation Security Administration agents, like air traffic controllers, are considered essential and will continue working during a government shutdown, so TSA screenings should proceed as normal.
  7. what embassy? some pay the DS160 fee at the interview /others pay prior at designated locations
  8. Only time i saw an emergency B1/B2 visa (back when i was taking my son to Jacksonville florida at Mayo Clinic-they flew a child in for emergency heart surgery and it was reported by local news media) B1/B2 in this case was arranged between doctors. International Patient Services. Every year, patients from more than 150 countries travel to Mayo Clinic for care. International patients Bringing your wife here to expose her to your covid sounds not only manipulative but crazy. Nothing u can do about the Canadian citizen part of all this I think a consulatation with a lawyer is desperately needed as u will find out its very difficult to get a divorce when the other person is mentally ill in most US states if this is the way things will conclude I am not saying "get a divorce" but u need to know EVERYTHING and have all the facts and what u face and will face in the future Good luck i am sure u have all the prayers from this community
  9. Yes, triggered by a Mroccan who was married in US and then married again in Moroc and applied for CBRA for his child Never divorced USC Security check on him did catch up i suspect the notice said "ALL" previous marriage certificates to check dates and compare with divorce papers
  10. You have gotten a pile of good information above and u need to use any of it that u feel will help u As far as an immigration case goes, married and only spending 2 to 3 weeks together is a weak case and how could she pass a interview and know all about u, if she does not know about herself? U say she is not telling u the truth, in all honesty ,, she doesn't know and understand the truth she's not lying, she's sick
  11. any extensive travel as would be noted by passport stamps?
  12. Refused is not denied it is the status till a decision to approve or deny is made I would imagine the form u were told to fill out was the ds 5535 an extensive security check will be done now and may take weeks , months or as long as a year all u can do now is wait for the process to complete it is a good thing they kept the passport
  13. Don't forget the passport photos mine were done up the USPS office itself , but I went to the main one as not all offices do the photos
  14. Hard for me to understand some decisions of CO's MIL applied for B1/B2 when Adil was green card holder and was denied /at that point , he could not have done AOS for her to stay BTW I was in Moroc at the time to bring her to US if she got the visa and saw written paper they gave her to deny which was dated the day before the interview/not a 22l1g but a written letter English on one side and Arabic on the other Then when he became a citizen, they approved her no changes in her circumstances
  15. Trying to get her to understand may bring on one of her symptoms / she may think u are going to abandon her The hard road you could take would be to go to the family fully loaded with your understanding of her symptoms and the word "enable" explain they are not helping her if they continue to enable . Yes, this can cause bad feelings with the family but u r a dr and have had to explain difficult diagnose i am sure. The following symptoms make it almost impossible for her to understand herself especially the "shifting self-image" you need their help in this matter. The 9 symptoms of BPD Fear of abandonment. People with BPD are often terrified of being abandoned or left alone. ... Unstable relationships. ... Unclear or shifting self-image. ... Impulsive, self-destructive behaviors. ... Self-harm. ... Extreme emotional swings. ... Chronic feelings of emptiness. ... Explosive anger.
  16. Its hard for families to "come clean" when most do not understand the situation themselves and may feel they are "to blame" they become enablers Not only will she need to disclose the mental health issues but be on a control plan of medications and therapy / u know this already and CO should not approve a visa for someone who is a harm to themself or others this is a hard road to travel and i wish u the best get help for her - in Canada insist on it
  17. then after u are dq"d by NVC, you wait for the embassy to notify NVC that your case can be scheduled
  18. What type of visa? What country (for the best answers)?
  19. my Thoughts too but for the embassy interview , they will accept the back statement and a letter from IRS that no tax returns have been filed he can get that by filing out a 4506-T Mail or fax the completed IRS Form 4506-T to the address (or FAX number) provided on page 2 of Form 4506-T. If the 4506-T information is successfully validated, tax filers can expect to receive a paper IRS Verification of Non-filing Letter at the address provided on their request within 5 to 10 days. He's also going to have to prove US residency
  20. sounds like they have suspicions of money laudering or a heat sensor camera or this with the new outbreak of covid and so many staff illneses , Gatwick international has limited its services to 800 flights in and out a day so the covid scare is on Screened by staff as they board the plane, temperatures are quickly and accurately measured via handheld infrared thermometers or mounted infrared cameras. All airlines are different, but standard practice is that individuals registering a temperature higher than 100.4 would not be permitted to enter the plane.
  21. did u use Global entry and they were checking ID? As CBP says First, unlike entry, the ports were not designed to control the exit of individuals, nor does CBP (or the Federal government) own the airports. The nation’s airports are privately owned and were not designed or built to control exit. Accordingly, there are no Federal inspection areas through which travelers must depart from the United States and no “controlled” space from which travelers must depart or face re-inspection from a CBP officer https://www.cbp.gov/sites/default/files/assets/documents/2018-Jan/fieldops-entry-exit-fact-sheet-201404.pdf
