The visa bulletin for June states that the F category for India is expected to reach annual limit by July (ahead of September year end dates) so they are probably completing all the F category to close the category for the year. Then they'll be able to focus Aug forward on catching up all CR/IR cases with that task out of the way. They also have to process all student visa before University starts end of August. I suspect that everyone will get flood of IL starting August to get caught up. Let's hope and pray that my instinct is correct ha ha!!! 😁

That’s an F2A case. A lot of F2As received their August interview dates last week. It’s only the CR1s and IRs that haven’t gotten the IL 😟

@The Rock ll To be honest with you. Im considering that they may not even make it to my date which is the 14th of may. So i cant even estimate when June will hear something
 

Yes. I think officially its referred to as the 'USCIS Immigrant fee'. 

Don't believe for a minute that using a lawyer or a visa service will change anything.  They miss things as well.  Regardless, although a hassle, it is recoverable.

Calling NVC is a waste of time!!

I called NVC again..  waste of time but had to ask how F2x with later DQ date have their interview.   They said "we are unable to comment on other cases".   I escalated to a supervisor and go the same answer.  I also asked if they are still working August dates and the supervisor told me that Aug dates are still open.    So, let's pray and get this over with.

We got approved! Was so easy, 5 simple questions. They took the main documents and did not even review most of the photos and other evidence. Visa pickup next week Tuesday! Thank you all.

Interview is planned for the 7th of August, but I have to rescheduled because I'm traveling on the 13th of August so I can't risk not getting my passport in time! 

I was on other chat group and even there were no F2A IL’s for Mumbai even they r current...so I really hope Tourist and student visa is what hold as back...since I am June 3rd and 10th CC...I am looking more into October or November if things move in September for Cr/IR..🙏
