NVC to Mumbai

Hello,

So my husband's paperwork got approved by NVC on 6/21/19 and is now being sent to Mumbai to schedule an interview... I was wondering how long does it usually take to receive the interview date?

thank you :( this is frustrating haha @sherv yes I will let you know and you let me know as well if you hear anything. Another person going through this process said if we hear anything by July 3, our interview will be in August . So I will see...

guys in my case, i got approved (documentarily by nvc) on 4 june 2019, i am still waiting for interview date. if you guys do get something please let me know. this is taking forever.

This is what I heard from a guy who has gone through the same process. NVC starts scheduling appointments in the last week of each month, once the consulate have advised them of the available appointments. That’s why people who were documentarily qualified early in a month usually wait a bit, but people who documentarily qualified closer to the end of the month can seem to get their appt set sooner. So if we call NVC around 2nd or 3rd of July we will be knowing if our interview is scheduled for August. Please let us know if you are hear anything.

It will be quite a while. Mumbai is back logged. Back in the day (last year) it took just a little less than 2 months from CC - interview letter and then the actual interview.  Now I believe it is closer to 3 months.

@karishma I will let you know if I hear anything and @sherv thank you I am hoping we all do hear soon  I guess we just have to continue to wait .. Can we just get a fast pass like  at Disneyland and move to the front of the line hehehehe jk  *frustrated*

wait times from cc to interview are more like 3-4 months in mumbai oflate. see this thread here:

I called NVC today. They have already scheduled the interviews for August. Our case hasn't scheduled yet. So hopefully September or October. Please let us know if any of you hear anything.

Did you call NVC? Are they delaying for spouses of citizens too? This is so sad to hear. I thought we will be hearing something in two months. Does anyone know what is happening with Mumbai Consulate?
