Don't worry too much about having to send more tax forms; I had to send mine three times because of mistakes the ACCOUNTANT made (I was pretty mad). As long as you get your return filed, you can send USCIS that copy.

The 2018 tax year forms are different. Congress passed the first overhaul to income tax in a bazillion years. If you are submitting copies of your return, include the form 1040 and every other form or schedule that is part of your return. Everybody is different. Also include photocopies of any W2s or 1099 wage statements from employers.
 
Your biggest clue for whether it is part of the return or just a worksheet is there will be an attachment sequence number if it is part of the return. 
 

what does it say on the IRS website?  what years are listed? i'm assuming 2018 doesn't show at all in all the boxes? what did you submit exactly with your application?

Once your Green Card is approved, your EAD is invalid.......A Green card give authorization to work.

Once you get your green card you do not need the EAD anymore. The EAD is only to allow you to work while the GC is pending.

Can someone quickly explain AOS to me, we just got married so waiting for marriage certificcate to come back.  Do you get your green card at the end of AOS? How long does it take to get authorization to work?

Work permits (EADs) are generally being issued roughly 6 months after submitting the I-765 per other VJ members:
 

Yes.....and make sure you file for adjustment of status as quickly as possible after marriage...........like asap..........and before your I-94 expires if at all possible.

You can - just contact the organization offers the course -  they may just care about if you can pay the fee.

Checked with my AA number and... ISSUED ALREADY!! Damn that was fast. Only a day!

It's one of the parking spots for your file while the adjudicator works on it. You will go in and out of different status.
 
Just about everyone goes through this process.  Based on the discussions I had with the case officer he informed me of the steps to complete the processing of your visa:
 
the first AP is the immigration unit doing the paperwork for approving the visa the first ready is a notice that they are finished and the paperwork is being sent for visa issuance the second AP is the visa issuance people doing their own paperwork
 
 the second ready is that the visa has been issued and is currently being processed for delivery.
 
Then "issue" is posted and the visa has left the BIG house to YOUR house.
 
Once you get that second ready, it should be sent out within a few days, although we received our visa before any of the various websites that allow you to look up the status said that it had been sent out. Your mileage can vary.
