My AOS interview was scheduled for Aug 13th in Memphis, TN. So excited! I guess they won't approve my EAD because it hardly makes any sense now

Great news my 131 and 765 were approved on July 10th but must have just updated today as I checked yesterday and it wasn't yet updated. Now I fall into the list of people waiting for the cards to come in and still waiting for my Interview to be officially scheduled. One step closer to the finish line.

I don’t see any fraud? Marriages fall apart. People change their minds and move on. I have been through a divorce. I never got married with the intention of getting divorced (I can’t imagine anyone does) but it didn’t work out. Hey ho.

Unfortunately you have not helped yourself by claiming the green card is your property (it’s not, no matter what you think) and telling her to leave (you can’t make her leave, no matter what you think). You can’t make her surrender her green card. I’m not surprised such comments were met with the treats of a restraining order. You sound very controlling. Just let her go. She doesn’t want to be married to you anymore. No point wasting any more energy on it. Divorce, protect your assets, move on.

I'm sure there a lot of immigration attorneys who would take the OP's money......and achieve nothing........not that all attorneys would.

Lord have mercy! This administration has really made things miserable & more tedious for people who are actually trying to do things the "right" and "legal" way and live with their families. A budget crisis, a halt in processing immigrants, and now a printer problem... 😣. I truly pray this will be rectified asap!

Yes, something will pass the House,  and probably also the Senate, but then it will go to Trump's desk. My worry is that Stephen Miller (the master mind behind the recent immigration policies) will whisper some ridiculous reason for not signing the bill.

Hopefully the concern for the 13,400 American jobs outweighs the desire to halt immigration all together!

    Here's bad and good news.

The bad news is the White House Office of Management and Budget (OMB), the agency that handles all bunch of budget, did not make a formal request for emergency funding as of June 30th.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/immigration/immigration-agency-bailout-furlough/2020/06/30/93ee2a3a-ba45-11ea-86d5-3b9b3863273b_story.html   The good news is US Representatives Emanuel Cleaver (D-MO) and Jeff Fortenberry (R-NE) prepare for emergency bills to support USCIS despite USCIS. And, they expect to approve before August.
https://cleaver.house.gov/media-center/press-releases/reps-cleaver-fortenberry-introduce-emergency-funding-legislation-to-save   I truly didn't expect this thing happens within this year, but it happens!
Apparently, those two US Representatives can't bear any risk of unemployment in their district. :)

For people waiting to get their card produced, apparently USCIS created a printer problem for themselves:

"Some 50,000 green cards and 75,000 other employment authorization documents promised to immigrants haven’t been printed, USCIS said in a statement."

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/how-the-trump-administration-is-turning-legal-immigrants-into-undocumented-ones/2020/07/09/15c1cbf6-c203-11ea-9fdd-b7ac6b051dc8_story.html

Hopefully they will sort out this issue quickly!

I don't think we will bring the kitchen sink 😆 My only concern is that we have only a few pictures together, as we are both not "picture people". And I hate to think I'll have to bring all the docs we submitted.. Those guys surely don't care about saving forests

@Lyubov Wheeee congrats, be sure to get all your documents together now, don't wait until the last minute. Your interview letter will inform you what they want you to bring. If the letter has not changed it will tell you to bring EVERYTHING you ever got from USCIS lol no joke I'm serious. Some couples bring everything but the kitchen sink others don't. That's going to be your personal choice you and your spouse!!!!

I just wake up to this good news that “New Card is being produced”

    PD : 02/12/2020
    BIO : 10/03/2020
Case ready to be scheduled for interview: 04/16
    New card being produced 07/09/2020
I just got a nice job last week but I couldn’t fill the I-9 because my OPT expired and I have no time to apply for the STEM extension. I am calling my employer today ASAP. I just hope they hold the job for me.

That seems to be a common USCIS mistake. Here on the forum a few cases like this have been described, and they say you should report it to USCIS, as they are going to find out anyway

Approved for I-765 and I-131 on 06/17/2020. Called USCIS today and was told we have to wait at least  60 days for the card to be produced before calling. Fast fwd I ask to speak with an officer, the officer told us to hold on she's sending an e-mail to the department that makes the cards. I would say an hour after I checked and got an update "Card Mailed". So it seems as if they're not sending peoples stuff out. I don't know if this will  work for everyone but I suggest y'all give it a try and call. We are so happy!
