As stated earlier, you husband must fill out an I -864 whether he qualifies on salary or not.  And at minimum, submit his most recent tax return with W2 or a tax return transcript.

If your spouse does not qualify, your joint sponsor will also provide an I-864 with tax return and proof of current income. The joint sponsor does not have to be the one used for the K1 visa. This is a brand new process and the visa is over. Start fresh with a new name, new joint sponsor, etc if you want.
Note: If the joint sponsor filed a joint tax return with a spouse, the tax return is not enough to show the sponsor’s income is enough. A joint tax return lumps all income together so it doesn’t show what the sponsor’s separate income was. An employer letter would be beneficial.

BUT if your spouse has a salary from the US military now, you may no longer need a joint sponsor. Sorry I don’t know military forms, but if he has a document that shows his pay, he can claim that as his current income and provide a photocopy as proof of his current income. His most recent tax return still has to be included as a requirement, but proving new income works as a supplement to show he now qualifies.

You don’t have to have a SSN to apply for AOS. Carry on without it.

Your legal name is your husbands last name if that is what you want to go by. Your marriage certificate makes it your legal name without changing your passport name. Apply for AOS in your new last name because you want your greencard to be issued in your married name.

i would suggest you keep your current passport as is if it’s not expiring soon. It is your photo ID for your biometrics appointment. When you change your UK passport, you will have to mail your passport to the UK and wait on the new one to be issued. Maybe after you get EAD and can get a SSN then driver license or state ID would be a better time to change your passport. You can continue to use it with your maiden name for travel.

Yes most likely, depending on when you had your K1 medical. See the I-693 instructions—

What if I am a K nonimmigrant visa holder and already had a medical examination overseas?

If you were admitted as a:
    ✅A. K-1 fiancé(e) or a K-2 child of a K-1 fiancé(e); or
    B. K-3 spouse of a U.S. citizen or a K-4 child of a K-3 spouse of a U.S. citizen; and
    C. You received a medical examination prior to admission, then:
❓(1) You are not required to have another medical examination as long as you file your Form I-485 within one year of an overseas medical examination; and
    (a) The panel physician did not find a class A medical condition during your overseas examination; or
    (b) The panel physician did find a class A medical condition, you received a waiver of inadmissibility, and
you have complied with the terms and conditions of the waiver.

That date is when the form must have a mandated review by the OMB. It is currently under review, but until a new form comes out, the edition dated  01/19/17 is valid. The edition date is found on the bottom left.

Yes, same joint sponsor, but both your husband and his stepmom, must fill an I-864 form each, including of course, the required evidence.

The medical is valid for two years, so you should be fine there.
Given that your I-94 expired long ago, you will be able to get the SSN until you receive the EAD/AP.
The renewal of your UK passport can be done at any time. And yes, your legal name is now the married one, but if your UK passport with the maiden name has not expired, you can keep using it.
Now, you say you're waiting for the documents from your sponsor. Remember your sponsor is your spouse, and if the income requirement is not met, then you need a joint sponsor, which would mean filing two I-864 forms.
Regarding the EAD form, as per the USCIS instructions, you're fine with the form that's currently on their website.

Your married name is your legal name only if you choose it to be. You can keep your maiden name as your legal name
     if you prefer.

So that is an indication they have not either 1)received the medical or 2)just haven't caught up backtracking to pick up cases that needed something further sent in. Keep watching the dates for changes.

Yes, our interview was last year! We're past the AOS point now but we were only delayed by a week. We also ran into Memorial Day weekend.

Same thing happened to me, including being issued with the same form. You’ll be absolutely fine. It’ll just take a week or two longer than normal.

It's all good. They said "2 weeks" but it really means "2 or more weeks" and after that, no telling when the Embassy has time to look at your case. They will look at your case, but nobody can tell exactly when. So only thing to do is wait.

I waited until after my medical (over a week to give it enough time to get sent to the embassy), my status changed to “ready” on CEAC and I’d done my DS-160 already so I went ahead and booked the interview myself online. You are able to register your account and it takes you through everything. Remember to print the instruction page, it prompts you to do so. You take it to the interview. Once you book the appointment through there you are able to pay the fee and if you want your passport couried back to your address after the interview you can pay a fee to do so. It takes you through all of that.

No, the readiness form is now redundant, you need to complete the Ds160 and print out the confirmation page as you will need this for the interview. Once you have done this you can go ahead and book your interview appointment . It is advisable but not necessary to leave at least 2 weeks between medical and interview if you want your results to arrive there in time.

Hopefully your case number comes through soon! and at least you'll know if they send you to Bentwick mansions it's okay lol

The website says bring photocopies but they don't actually want them at the interview according to ones who report on their London experience. They scan your originals and hand them back. They used to file those paper copies, but are more digital now.

The I-134 affidavit of support goes to the interview along with the rest of your documents. See "required documents" link on the instruction page. London will take anything that proves your fiance's income. Letter from employer or latest tax return are good proofs.

Injections: There are only 4 required for adults.  You get one of them (Varicella) waived if you tell them you have had chickenpox. MMR, Tdap or Td, and flu.

Your point of entry will only want to see your passport/visa and the white envelope of papers that will get delivered with your visa. You don't need money in the bank.
  25. Thanks

I don't keep up with timelines anymore, but I can direct you to your instructions to follow once your case gets from NVC to London. You can read what needs to be prepared for a London interview (because each consulate has different procedures).

London sends out a letter of instruction when they receive your file. It will say to get your K1 instructions here https://uk.usembassy.gov/visas/fiancee-2/applying-for-the-visa/
With the address change, you may not get the letter. No worries because you already have the link. You don't need the actual letter to show at the interview.  The medical clinic will say to bring it to your exam. They just want to verify your new case number LNDxxxxxxxxxxxx. Your Petitioner fiancé  will be notified by NVC of the same number and you can use that to show the medical clinic.

Back to your London K1 instructions---- https://uk.usembassy.gov/visas/fiancee-2/applying-for-the-visa/
There are are four steps to read (scroll down) for an overview, then six links to specific topics at the top. The Immigrant FAQ link in the right column has more information.

Right now, while waiting, you can order your police certificate, get your immunizations sorted, and get a Heath Summary report printout  from your GP office. You will need those things to show at the medical and NHS can be slow helping you so good to start now. That is all explained in the links on the instruction page.
