You are almost there . If they request the completed form to be mailed . It’s most likely interview is waived . Or at least I’d like to hope so !!! Congrats !!
Thank you!!! I am overjoyed! I hope it is waived and I’d like to spend my Christmas back home. This will be the greatest gift ever for me

hello dear community, please help me, my vawa was approved on march 2020, I sent i485 on december 2018, I was married to us citizen, I live in queens ny.
the processing time for i485 at queens ny is at the moment on june 2nd 2018, is it normal that I still have to wait to receive news from the queen ny uscis office? are there any other people that filed around december 2018 in queens ny wating for updates for i485 like an invitation for interview, request for medicals or having uscis approved and sent the green card? please let me know your thoughts, is it normal for me to still be waiting or I should have received a notification earlier? please let me know!
I am Sept 2018 filer. Still waiting for interview or notice to send medicals. I’m from Queens too

You should get all of your receipts if you applied to renew your EAD and go to your local DMV . They should be able to help you . Most of the states can request an info from USCIS to determine for how long they can give you D license . I have a friend of mine who renewed his CDL for 5 years with pending 765,485 form receipts In MD .
Thank you for responding. I’ll try to book a schedule for DMV

Happy Sunday everyone! I have a student driver’s license and I am planning to practice in driving to obtain professional driver’s license. My work permit extension is expiring this October 13,2021 and my interview is pending. Am I allowed to drive? Does anybody have a similar situation or any inputs on this? @sandranj

Dear friends - i got the green card earlier this year. Thank you all for all the support and help.
i still have my old “temporary” social security card that i got when was on work visa. SS offices are closed due to covid. Does anyone know how to update / replace it with “standard” ss card? I may be getting a new job soon and just need to ensure the ss card is standard
Congratulations, can you please share your timeline.

Good morning.
Yesterday out of the blue my congresswoman sent me an email about my case, saying that my local office issued me a RFE to mail in my medical. So I scheduled it for Monday!!!
for those who sent in medicals, how long did it take for the case to be approved??So you didn’t get a notification directly from USCIS about your medical?

Timeliness is not like a perfect processing time but it is an average, so I guess 3-4 months +/-.
I filed i-360 and i-485 in Feb-2019.
I-360 got approved on March-2021.
Yeah probably more than that. It sucks losing a job

Wow, that's long time ago, filed offices in new York has different processing speed or i guess different work load. Like Brooklyn is still processing Feb-2018, Queens is March-2018, Long Island Is : June-2019
so if your filed office is Brooklyn or queens then your are still under normal processing time. My Filed office is Long Island and Date is Feb-2019 and i am still waiting. My Vawa was approved in March-2021.
I hope that they clear backlogs fast.
Thanks for the information. I live in Queens so I’m assuming my field office is in Queens too right? is that timeline accurate? When did you file? I was approved July2020

Normal processing time is up to 26 months per uscis website. Therefore 33 months is abnormal!
Yeah we had somebody from october 2019 being approved recently...I will never get my head around USCIS time processing as it's definitely unfair!
I totally agree about how USCIS is working out on cases

I think some cases are straightforward so they get approved quickly to get them out of the way. Then they take their time to deal with the "complicated cases". Just my opinion.
I applied for 485, 131 and 765 September 29 last year and my 765 is out of normal processing time but I'm still waiting patiently.
Mine was straightforward too and have no RFE’s or any problems whatsoever. It is taking forever and I have no patience left. This is very disappointing

NYC is taking 14 to 20 months to process I-485 after They received your Vawa approval. I seen less time 9 months for another person, I waited 17 months so hang in there should be soon.
Thanks for the encouragement
