This wouldn't affect anyone going through the K1 process. We all process through the Embassies, not the immigration offices. They actually aren't used in many cases.

I met my fiancé when he was on his J1. Everything was fine and we were approved. I think it’s better because you physically spent much more time getting to know each other. Send plenty of proof. Which was easy for us because we had so much time together. Good luck.

Go up to the blue ribbon at the top of the page and choose "forums" then scroll three-quarters of the page down and you'll see the subform listing. It's interesting there's another way of reaching that page and that is to select your flag in the left column of your profile. There are lots of different choices over there to continue to review additional information.

Congrats to all those who have received their approvals today! Very jealous, but also very happy for everyone! For everyone else still waiting, we are all in this together, and our time will be soon! We are only mid week, there's tons of time for more approvals to come this week!

WE GOT APPROVED!!! I was deciding to call USCIS at the end of the month like everyone now seems to be doing, but when I got the mail today lo and behold, the beauty of a blue stamped envelope. Such a relief honestly.
The app and websites have not updated so don't worry too much about that everyone, just hang in there, we're all almost there!
We were filed October 27. Fiancé from Australia.
