Congratulations!!    Ours changed that same day to approved and it took us 9 days to receive my wife's Green Card in the mail.

My wife received her 2 year Green Card today in the mail   Less than 2 weeks after our interview.We went out to celebrate 🤗   We did not expect the process to go so quickly!!  Hope everyone else gets theirs soon!!! Praying for those still waiting 🙏🙏

They mainly asked my wife everything on the I-485 Application and then asked for documents like joint bank statements, Credit cards etc. Also just had us tell a bit about our love story and we showed our photo album. Then she told us everything looks good and we were approved.

When we filed the I-485 form we put the married last name right away so we don't have to change it later. When we went in to get the fingerprints done we brought our marriage certificate to confirm that we are married. They might be able to change it there if you filed the I-485 with your maiden name. I'm not sure though..

My wife had her Biometrics appointment today in Fort Myers, FL at 12:00PM. We arrived at 11:45AM and there was no one there it was empty. While we went through everything 1 other  person showed up only took us 10 minutes to get through we were out of there by 11:55AM. They did have to check their system to make sure her last name is entered by her married name not maiden name and it was all good

We received our Biometrics appointment letter today in the mail our appointment is scheduled for May 24, 2019 another step closer! 🤗🤗🤗

We also got our NVC letter through just email never got one through the mail. The email one worked fine at the interview. We had no issues at all

We got our passport with the K1 Visa today  She will be here in the US this Friday. Just a few more days 🤗🤗🤗🤗

Yes I sent in my 2017 tax returns for the interview but the tax return is required if you are self employed and work on a 1099.

Had out interview at the US embassy in Ukraine today 01/29/19 and we were approved! Now just waiting to get her passport back with the Visa and she's coming here super excited!! Praise God  praying for all of you waiting a speedy approval 🙏 My Fiancee said the interview only took about 5 minutes at most. They asked her about my parents, what I do for a living and when the wedding will be and looked over 5 or 6 of our photos of us together and asked who else was in them and where they were taken at.

For the I-134 Affidavit of support paperwork- Does my fiance in Nigeria take that with him to the interview or do I have to mail it to the Nigerian Emabassy?

 

Our Embassy is in Ukraine and there they have to take I-134 Affidavit of support with them and give it to them in person. Most likely they require the same in Nigeria
