mary&felipe reacted to M and Ed in JANUARY / FEBRUARY 2019 ARGENTINA K1 INTERVIEWS
Hi everyone!
I'm starting this thread for those of us having their K1 interviews in Buenos Aires during the Argentinian summer.
Let's keep each other posted on experiences, doubts, concerns and comments.
Good luck!

I'm still waiting for my NOA2 for IR1 visa.
I'll follow this thread as I would like to know the processing times of the Embassy (I'll probably have my interview on the second half of the year).
Good luck!!!!

People like you hold up immigration processes for the rest of us. If you aren't sure about the relationship, let the poor woman go and stop wasting everybody's time! my kids haven't seen their father in 6 months due to how long this process is, I WISH the only thing standing between me and my husband was signing a damn form. ugh..

A. She would be an undocumented immigrant subject to arrest and deportation.
B. She would be an undocumented immigrant subject to arrest and deportation. Marriage to a USC does not make her a "documented resident."
Under A or B, she can not legally work. She would be another undocumented immigrant living and working in the US illegally.
If you don't sign the I-864, then she will be living here illegally.
Buy her a ticket home if you aren't willing to do your part. Stop holding her hostage.

mary&felipe reacted to Fer Schvarztman in ARGENTINA - Got NVC case number, now what?
I don't know, all I know is when I checked the ceac says "ready". So many people on the NOA2>NVC group in visajourney say it means my case left the NVC and is already at the embassy in Buenos Aires.
I have sent an email to the US embassy asking what I should I do and if they have already received my I129F packet. got an automated response saying they take 15 days to give answer to my question. The NVC has my fiance's email as well as the packet. They only have my address
None of the Argentinians in this forum answers, also argentinians do not update their timelines so can't get real help on this. I'm scared to be loosing time that I could be using to move forward with apointments, but don't know what to do, can't find info about next step. The US Embassy webpage in Argentina does not explain what to do eather. Im stucked 😓

You need to fit the specific criteria that they consider for expedite on their website, Financial/Humanitarian/military/etc I believe.

So what usually happens is that as soon as your embassy receives your case they send you the next set of instructions (packet 3). With this you send back affidavit of support, police clearance, original docs etc. Once they get this you will receive your appointment letter together with your medical instructions. The entire process is very fast. Don't go off my timeline as I had a few speed bumps. All fees are payable on the day you interview.

If you didn't send the I-129F then just don't bother sending it. The I-130 will be adjudicated and you can proceed with a CR-1/IR-1 visa. It won't be an issue.
The missing I-130A will likely result in an RFE.
