    Hello Everyone,
This is (removed) wife of(removed) (the account owner), I took to this platform to share our story. A little hesitant in the beginning, but Here I am folks  I live in Mumbai, and as much I love Mumbai, I am excited and enthralled at the thoght of moving in with my husband. I got married to my love on the 30th June 2018. And as mentioned in our profile , 1st week of Aug was when we filed our case. Our expectation from the immigration process was not as worse as it is now. We have been through lot many tough days and months. My husband has been traveling too and fro from Dallas to meet me, I even tried for a tourist visa but was rejected (what if I stayed longer in USA than what I claimed, this could be their basis for rejection). It's been almost one and a half year since we have been married, but I haven't seen my future home. I have suffered a lot because of lack of sleep, depression and stress and I don't think anything can compensate for the initial years we  lost. To worsen it, the consulate in Delhi has stopped issuing Interview letters, too increase the load in Mumbai  embassy. In addition to sleep deprivation, this wait has costed us ticket fares and festivities without our better half. I know many families suffering silently because of this, and I don't understand why cant we be permitted entry via tourist visa when others can? People commit fraud despite their marital status. Living in your home country becomes difficult with temporary jobs, no employer wants to recruit somebody leaving the country. It makes my heart sad to know that we have no tentative timelines in place, so that we can have a plan in place. I know my  situation will see no fruit full outcome, but I wish and pray there was a medium in which we could plea to the governing bodies to shorten the wait times. Imagine humans deprived of family life, yeah these are basic necessities. Lastly, I hope we all gain enough strength and courage to fight this phase of life through, AND yes...God Bless America!

We finally got approved today. I don’t know whether to laugh or cry. But yes, we’re very happy and very grateful!
we didn’t receive any mail. We checked online and the status still shows in process. But in the documents section, we could see the approval notice.
Any comments on what should we be expecting now?

Thanks.. Just really feel it.  But I know I'm not alone, so many others on here are having a hard time.  I feel for everyone on here also.

I pray and wish for it to be of the past.  But it's so gripping. When we'll finish.
Back in Nebraska filers, i was praying to get here.. Now I'm here so I'm grateful.. But now I'm afraid something may pop up and block us at the last moment. I guess faith is what we need.

Thank you friend for the kind words 🙏🏼

Hey everyone! I-130 was approved on oct 25 and still nothing.  Nvc didn’t receive anything and I’m starting to get worried that our paperwork was somehow lost.  Anyone else approved my USCIS around that time?  Pls share experiences and thanksss

I finally completed DS-260 😪 I spent around 6 hours in total answering checking and rechecking and reviewing again. (Started it around a week ago)

And then I had no idea where to find my visa number (I have a b1/b2/ bcc laser visa, it doesnt have any red numbers at the front)
But I did it! We'll try to update everything today 👏👏👏

Our CEAC status just changed to "ISSUED"
Finally we can put this chapter behind us and start planning our future.
That means my sojourn in Yaounde ends today.
    Been here since Monday.
Leaving for my base in Douala immediately after collecting passport at 15:00.

Thank you all for the love and support.
We couldn't have done this without you all.

It's US today, tomorrow it will be YOU.

Finished submitting docs to NVC 10/23 ; got the email today that we’re moving on to the interview stage!!

I know the amount of time until the actual interview varies big time from embassy to embassy. But when can I expect to at least know what the date will be? Whether it’s going to be Jan 2020 or October 2020, I just want to know so I can get it on our calendars!

October 24th 2018 my husband and I started this Visa Journey, and today he had his interview. They told him he was “Approved”. We have not seen each other since July 2019, but Thanksgiving 2019 we have so much to be Grateful for and to give Thanks to our Father God who has been at the center since the beginning of our existence. This visa journey has been stressful at time comparing our process to others but it has also been beautiful, when we are able to celebrate these victories and remind us who, what and why we are here to begin with. Praying for you all!

We've seen people say this countless times and now it's our turn to say the magic word "APPROVED".
Went in 7:30 a.m and by 9:30 a.m I was on my way.
Asked to come collect passport tomorrow at 3pm.
    All's well that ends well.
Keep the faith. Yours will go smoothly like ours.

I think that phone call was enough to make your decision. That is the service they give people whom they are trying to recruit as clients. Imagine how you’re treated after they’ve gotten your money. Unless you are illiterate (and don’t have someone who is) and can’t follow form directions, you don’t want to be bothered putting together the petition,  and your case isn’t overly complicated (felonies, multiple past immigrant petitions etc) you can do this without involving a third party. Good luck on your journey

We used them Initially, can’t say it cost $3k though more like $1100 but included all processing fees and priority service.. can’t say any of my interactions with them were rude, it was all done via online chat promptly..

as far as service went, we signed up to them before I came across this site.. so their doing the i130 was good for us in ensuring more than enough evidence was gathered prior to submitting... they also prefil docs needed for later in the process (NVC) which has made it less daunting I guess.

looking back now, we could have done it ourselves and have moved on through NVC stage without them. Just wish I had of found this site first, in which case I doubt I would have used them at all..

save me your money, join the right group forum and shout our any concerns, lots of help available here... you don’t need rapid visa

I'm going crazy! I sleep thinking about it and wake up thinking about it, I can't wait to send these documents right away and act if necessary. I'm studying a lot because I'm doing everything on my own. It's not easy, but we'll make it!!! Good Luck

Yes I know 🤣 there are so many steps and then the waiting period for this or that, receive case number, pay fees, wait for fees to be cleared, upload docs, have docs accepted etc. Every step involves waiting and waiting. But every milestone is a step closer to immigrating 🙂
