Tsh reacted to FloraTen in I-130 Filers March 2019
Woke up to an email saying an action was taken on our case. I checked the my.uscis.gov website and we were approved🙏🏽🙌🏽
Not showing in case tracker app nor egov.usics.gov website
PD 03/21/2019
NOA1 03/26/2019
NOA2 09/12/2019
Side note: We did file a k3 out of curiosity in July (PD 07/12/2019) but that still shows ‘case received’. I don’t know if it had any impact as they are working on March filers currently anyway.
Good luck to everyone else waiting🙏🏽

We received Dao's i-130 approval this morning. Texas processed in under 180 days!
Now comes the hard part of hoping for a waiver...

Sharing with you guys my timeline and interview experience! 😄
CR1 Manila, Philippines
Nebraska Service Center
TIMELINE
NOA1: May 07, 2018
NOA2: February 15, 2019
Case Number issued: March 29, 2019
Upload on CEAC: June 18,2019
Documentarily Qualified: July 18, 2019
Case “Ready”: August 14, 2019
Medical Exam (day 1): August 19, 2019
Medical Exam (immunization): August 20, 2019
CFO seminar: September 6, 2019
Interview: September 9, 2019 (APPROVED)
I arrived at the Embassy at 6:15 a.m. I think then We got inside at 8:00am. I handed my DS-260 to one of the staff there (people in a blue shirt) and I got my barcode sticker and I was instructed to line up at section A.
First Step: PRESCREENING (Filipino Officer)
I was assigned to Window 37. The officer was Filipina. She was very nice and pleasant. First, I handed her all of my civil documents such as:
Birth Certificate
Marriage Certificate
CENOMAR (Advisory on Marriage)
NBI clearance
Police Clearance from Bahrain
SLEC Medical results*
Passport
Divorce Decree of my Husband from previous marriage
(Bring all the EXACT and ORIGINAL copies of the ones you uploaded in CEAC)
The Officer only verified a few things with me like:
When did I meet him
My parents name
Did he visit philippines
Previous marriages (if there were any)
Kids (if my husband and I have any already).
And if my husband is active duty military
2nd step: BIOMETRICS (American Consul)
At Window 51, the Consul took my fingerprints after she asked my name and birthday.
3rd and final step: Interview (American Consul)
The consul greeted me. Asked for my barcoaded DS-260 and proceeded to ask questions. The questions he asked me were:
About my husband:
Who is your petitioner?
How long have you been married?
What’s his job?
How did you meet?
Did he visit philippines?
Does he have any previous marriages?
Does he have any kids?
Why I choose to get married in Bahrain
He handed me two flyers and explained to me how to ask for help in the US in case of any instances of domestic violence and then he asked me to raise my right hand and swear that everything I’ve said (and about to say) throughout the interview is the truth.
About me:
Do you have any previous marriages?
Do you have any kids?
Have you ever travelled outside the Philippines?
The consul was very nice and after he asked me all the questions he said you can go home now, your visa is APPROVED! ❤️
Status on CEAC tracker: ISSUED (01:05pm)
In God’s perfect time everything is worth the wait. 👆🏻🙏🏻To God be the Glory 🥰🥰

Yes they didn't get the email like that. But you know how USCIS doesn't send emails consistently, but when the system rolled out no one got those emails, but you know how people take it.
They think the pilot is still active because of comments like this. it's not a pilot anymore it's over. The system is active for all new applicants. They are in the regular queue.
USCIS isn't going to say "hey guys you might have heard about a pilot that we had yes those people got lucky they got approved quick, you're out of luck now you're in the regular queue." Some people part of the pilot didn't get the pilot email.
Pilot is over is what I'm saying. IOE is the new normal. It requires a myUSCIS account. It prevents the public from searching the status of receipts. It gives USCIS a new electronic way of passing your application from one step to the next.
Once they scan your application they destroy the paper application and everything you send since it's digitized.
Then they send it to whatever service center they assign it to.
IOE applicants will be able to see the scanned petition and everything they send as a file on their myUSCIS account.
(Commentary: I'm hoping in the future that they get rid of the service center assignment. And the IOE application gets put in the same giant pool. When a adjudicator is ready they pull the next in line from the giant pool. That would make everything fair.
We will see in 4-5 years when I have to watch my wife go through this process for her parents.)

The new online filling, which the Receipt number starts with IOE-xxxxxxxx, this is online petition. There is a whole thread on it on Visa Journey, but I dont think you should worry as you have already passed USCIS and NVC stages. Congrats!!!
This is the email I got from NVC. They ahve not sent me anything, no case number, no welcome letter. Should I be worried?
I need 7 police checks and some of them takes 2 months to process anyway, so im hoping I get a case number and can upload my documents to NVC by end of September. Then hopefully, very hopefully, interview by November...
Dear Sir/Madam:
Greetings from the Department of State's National Visa Center (NVC). We are contacting you regarding your recently approved immigrant visa petition. Based on your USCIS receipt number, your case benefited from a pilot electronic process for the I-130 petition. USCIS reviewed and approved your petition faster than average cases of this type as we develop the fully electronic transfer of data from USCIS to the Department of State. We thank you for your patience while we continue to refine our process with these electronic petitions. We wanted to alert you that it will likely take longer than the 30-day timeframe mentioned on USCIS's approval notice to you. Despite this delay, please rest assured that we expect the overall time between filing your petition and completing processing with NVC will be far faster than average for this petition type. When we complete the data entry for your case you will be notified by email or letter. This will include instructions on how to log into the Consular Electronic Application Center (CEAC) to begin case processing with NVC.
You are welcome to contact us with questions at <https://nvc.state.gov/inquiry>.

Sorry guys, but you’re not gonna get a political left-right side response out of me. I’m neither republican nor democrat......couldn’t care less about any of that.
‘But to answer y’alls assumptions of what y’all think I said, I never said trump physically did anything nor signed anything against immigration. I said
“pre trump”....as in a timeline/era. That being said, studies and reports do show that wait times have double since trumps election, hence my “pre trump” statement. Feel however you want about him, it doesn’t change the fact that waiting time has increased drastically.
So yes I do wish I had done something pre trump (2017 for those sensitive to the word trump).

Tsh reacted to pm_1234 in confused about our case at NVC/embassy
That is ridiculous. You need to ask for the case ID and invoice ID and login online to your NVC account and see what is happening. I don't think the lawyer has the right to keep these information away from you. I wonder why you don't have an email address on file so you will also be contacted for any case updates.
-
Tsh reacted to Cyberfx1024 in confused about our case at NVC/embassy
This is usually the case but not always. If you stay a while you will see cases like this happen and sometimes get drawn out quite a bit because the lawyer is either withholding key information due to incompetence or downright negligence.
