No you can not travel with approval notice.
If you only apply for the i-131 then you will get paper base AP which will have your picture on the bottom left side.
 
if your combo card approved then you will get a card like EAD.
 
You do not need to EAD to travel unless EAD itself serve as Ap. 
If your EAD is separate then you just need your AP and passport.

So my experience with my congresswoman was exceptional throughout my immigration journey. And they invited me to town hall meeting too to show support for re-election for the congress lady who eventually won another term.
Therefore, my good people, do make use of the congress representative of your instinct. They are there to help you.

@Stillwinning!!!😊 Hi Dear! Thanks for your response. I tried reaching out to Senator Gillibrand but her office hasn’t been responsive lately but I’m in contact with my district congresswoman now.  How long did it take you to get a copy of the notice after asking help from Sen. Gillibrand? 

you can also let me them if they can get you interview copy. 

Hi lately Sen. Gillibrand's office is not active as before. Her office was very active and fast before Covid. 
 
I would suggest reach out to your congress person. I had success with congress person.  

Hello dear, one sure way to get your interview notice is through your congressperson/senator. Senator Gillibrand got me my interview notice before my attorney even knew what time it was. Here’s wishing you speedy approval.😊👍

It takes time to receive that notice. for me it took 2 weeks after the status was updated online

Interview was Schedule today, The actual interview notice should arrived next week. 
it solely depends on the officer. 

Agreed! Sometimes an officer would pull me on the side to check my documents as apparently AP isn't that well known, but it is a legal documents so I never had major problems 😉  just had to wait sometimes like an hour 😑
 
Btw on my USCIS is says 
 CASE IS READY TO BE SCHEDULED FOR INTERVIEW
 
Do you guys know how long till I get the interview, and... what is the interview like? I'm very nervousness 😓

They will sent you the interview notice to your Lawyer office if you had one or the address appears on your I-360.  The notification you received meaning they cancel your interview, they probably will request for Medicals or reschedule again. 

NYC is taking 19-22 months to set up the interview, then you have to wait for a while ok.

HELP!!! I’m a Sept 2018 filer and still nothing. I asked help from Senator, Congressman, Ombudsman. Today I emailed my attorney’s office if they could inquire for me. They said I should pay my remaining balance first before they do an inquiry. I was furious!!! First of all, they have changed my lawyer twice already and the lawyer that’s handing my case is not with the firm anymore. They never told me until I emailed them for an update a month ago and now they want me to pay the remaining balance just for an inquiry!!! Absurd!!! There’s just so much incompetence on their part and I dont think im getting the quality of service that I paid for. 
 
How do I get them out of my case? What should I do? The lawyer that filed my case is not their anymore and I dont think it makes sense for them to put my case on a new lawyer since we’re just waiting for a decision. Pls help!!! Any suggestions
